In honor of its 53rd birthday, NBC’s “Days of our Lives” has released “The DOOL App” to thank their dedicated and committed fans for their loyalty to the long-running drama series.
Providing viewers with a unique experience including exclusive content, games, behind-the-scenes photos/videos, sneak peeks, weekly recaps, and breaking news straight from the Burbank studio where the soap is filmed, the app is the first digital footprint made by show producer Corday Productions (excluding last year’s EMOJI App).
“We are excited that after more than two years in development, we are now able to offer a free, interactive destination that will provide more fun and fresh content for the fans of ‘Days of our Lives,'” said Greg Meng, co-executive producer of “DAYS” and creative director behind the project. Content Producer Michael Fairman (michaelfairmantv.com) and Corday Productions Director of Communications and Strategic Initiatives, Maya Frangié, round out the creative team for the app. The development team consisted of Tyson Parsons and Lien Gray from Media Bridge Marketing.
Additional features on the app will include exclusive access to behind the scenes footage, fan-favorite clips from the video vault, exclusive/original content, personalized cast sections, a fan Q&A section, and more! New content will be regularly updated every week.

“Days of our Lives” premiered November 8, 1965 on NBC. On Saturday, November 10, the soap will celebrate its annual “A Day of DAYS” fan event at CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood throughout the day before concluding with a Q&A in the late afternoon.
