(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “How you doin’ Llanview?” The energetic talk show host got quite a surprise during the January 24 episode of her self-titled talk show, when she found that that “One Life to Live” wanted her to tape additional scenes on the long-running ABC Daytime soap.

The added scenes will extend Williams’ guest stint on “OLTL” from two episodes to five. While it is unclear when she will head back to the studio, her original scenes were taped on January 12 and are set to air on Wednesday, March 2 and Monday, March 28.

The development came as a shock to Williams, who learned of the news during a live broadcast of her talk show on Monday, when a crew member held up a cue card stating simply that “‘One Life to Live’ just called — wants you to do three more shows!”

As SON first told you two weeks ago, Williams (who has hosted a self-titled BET/syndicated talk show since 2008) will play as Phyllis Rose, emcee of “Access Llanview,” “One Life’s” show-within-a-show. Watch for the character to tackle the dysfunctional Buchanan clan in a special episode of the fictional talk show entitled “The Buchanans, A Family Under Siege.”

“One Life to Live” has released a new casting call for the role of “Zoe.” The scene opens with Zoe mocking “Reed” for finally showing up. Reed reminds her that he is not her friend, and that his full name is Reed Kelly. Zoe compliments his name and tells Reed that he shouldn’t be nervous because she won’t bite him. A little confused, Zoe asks if they are shooting a porno film. Zoe responds that Reed is a little slow in the head, but that it’s okay, since that’s not what he was hired for anyway. Realizing what is going on, Reed tries to back out. Zoe asks if they take things from the top, because it throws off her concentration and motivation when they shoot out of order. Getting upset, Reed says that he can’t do this and has to leave. On the defensive, Zoe asks him what his problem is, to which he reaffirms that he must go. Zoe tries to reassure him by saying all he has to do is say his lines and then she’ll take it from there. The scene ends with Reed insisting that he wants no part of this, and that they need to find some other guy for the job. Click here for more information.

And here is a little more information on the audition script for the recurring role of “Repo,” which “OLTL” released last month. The soap is looking for a Caucasian male in his 40s who is an expert in stage combat, for the role which is described as a “wiry, dangerous, and extremely threatening bartender of a seedy bar.”

“One Life to Live” airs Weekdays on ABC. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Anytime on ABC.com and SOAPnet.com. Check local listings.
