(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Tuc Watkins finds himself back in Llanview once more, and this time he plans to hang around for awhile.

The last time viewers saw David Vickers Buchanan he was blackmailing Kim to walk on his uncle Clint. Now comes word that he will back in town again in the near future, as Watkins has signed a new contract with the ABC sudser.

Watkins has been portraying the popular conman on and off since 1994. After leaving the show in 1997, he has returned for several short stints on a yearly basis since 2001, including being on contract again from 2003-06. Before coming to Llanview he played Dr. Pierce Dorman on “General Hospital” from 1996-97. And since 2007 he has portrayed Bob Hunter, one half of Wisteria Lane’s only gay couple, on “Desperate Housewives.”

Although a spokesperson confirmed the news to Soap Opera Digest, there is no word on the length of Watkins’ new contract or when his first airdate will be. However, on Monday, May 3rd, Kelly’s old flame Reed Wagner eases Dorian’s suspicions about him when he mentions that he knew David while he was staying in London.

“One Life to Live” airs Weekdays on ABC. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Anytime on ABC.com and SOAPnet.com. Check local listings.
