(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — CBS soaps “The Young and the Restless” and “Guiding Light” tied their lowest household ratings in history while “As The World Turns,” “The Bold and the Beautiful” and NBC’s “Days of our Lives” are the only soaps to increase their viewership year-to-year.

Continuing a trend it started earlier in the year, the ABC soaps continue to lose the most total viewers year-to-year with a combined loss of 1.7 million viewers. “General Hospital” lost the most with 642,000 viewers.

In Women 18-49, “The Bold and the Beautiful” was the only soap opera to increase year-to-year in Women 18-49, though “As The World Turns” and “Days of our Lives” also increased year-to-year in Women 18-49 viewers.

In Women 18-34, “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” and “The Young and the Restless” all tied at #1 with a 1.0/7 rating. However, “GH” fell the most year-to-year with a loss of 0.3 Women 18-34’s. “The Young and the Restless” by contrast increased in rating by 0.1 year-to-year.
