(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — One week after ABC cancelled “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” and thousands upon thousands of fans bombarding Internet message boards with post after post begging the media mogul to save their soaps, Oprah Winfrey speaks publicly on the issue for the first time. While sympathizing with the disgruntled viewers, Winfrey explains why the cancelled soaps will have no place on her cable/satellite network OWN. The announcement comes as a blow to those hoping for a last minute reprieve “AMC” and “OLTL,” after both shows were given the death penalty by ABC Daytime President Brian Frons.

Video: Austin Williams Talks About Bullying

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “One Life to Live’s” Austin Williams (Shane Morasco) discusses the show’s bullying storyline in an interview with the Associated Press and describes his character’s mindset as Shane is literally pushed to the edge this week, after enduring months of torment at the hands of Jack Manning (Andrew Trischitta).

On Monday, April 5, Shane’s parents Rex (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Gigi (Farah Fath) are shocked to find their baby boy about to jump off the roof of Llanview High School.  Desperate to talk their son out of ending his life, they listen as Shane opens up about the humiliation he has been subjected to recently, from having his inhaler stolen just as he was suffering a severe asthma attack to having a nude video of himself plastered all over the Internet.  It is a “One Life” event you won’t want to miss.

Video: Kourtney Kardashian Gets Acting Lesson for 'One Life' Role

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — In yet another video clip from her E! reality show Kourtney & Kim Take New York,” Kourtney Kardashian is shown back in November preparing to tape her “One Life to Live” guest pot as Kassanda Kavnanugh, which will air on Monday, March 28.  Only this time, the heiress and reality TV star seems a little more grounded than she was in her rather revealing previous video about her “OLTL” role.

Fortunately for Karadashian, she receives an impromptu acting lesson from actress/musician Adrienne Bailon, the ex-girlfriend of her brother Rob, and the pair rehearse some of her scenes from her day in Llanview.  Will it help, maybe not….but it couldn’t hurt.
