After 10 years, Los Angeles’ critically acclaimed 68 Cent Crew Theatre Company is going bicoastal and coming to New York City! With over 60 productions and festivals to date in Los Angeles, including the ONLY production of the ”13 by Shanley” Festival, Artistic Director Ronnie Marmo (GENERAL HOSPITAL, WEST OF BROOKLYN) feels it is time to return to his New York City roots and officially open a chapter of the 68 Cent Crew on the East Coast.
We produce published works, as well as original work written by Company members and writers around the world. We are looking for dedicated, open minded and talented individuals interested not only in acting but in writing, producing, directing, stage managing and set design. The 68 Cent Crew nurtures artists in all aspects of theatre. We believe that being a member of 68 is more than just being a member of a theatre company; we take pride in the fact that we provide a safe community where creativity and talent flourish. Members are surrounded by a family of individuals who are devoted, passionate and ready to work.
The 68 Cent Crew Theatre Company is a dues paying company. Dues are $75.00 per month. Membership includes our Monday night Gym. In Gym, we workshop scenes, improv, cold read, write, develop and direct material brought in by members. We exercise to keep our skills sharp for much less than the cost of a class. Company members get first right to audition for company shows. Once you are accepted into the 68 Cent Crew Theatre Company, you are a member of both Los Angeles and New York. This gives you exclusive access to use your creative passion on both coasts whether it be in a production or attend Monday night gym! All Theatre 68 members will now be bi-coastal.
