The episodes include the return of Ingo Rademacher as Jasper "Jax" Jacks, Vanessa Marcil as Brenda Barrett, Richard Simmons as a caricature of himself, Rick Springfield's Noah Drake singing "Jessie's Girl," Magic Milo (Drew Cheetwood) and the gang, which includes "Dancing with the Stars'" Maksim Chmerkovskiy, doing a strip tease. Sabrina Santago (Teresa Castillo) and Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) closed out the ball as they sang "You're Not Alone" to Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) as Port Charles' finest gathered around the stage.
ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" is heading to the prom on tonight's 2-hour performance edition of America's favorite dance competition series. On Monday, April 1, ABC's "General Hospital" turns 50! In honor of the event, fans have been anticipating the return of one of the shows grandest events...the Nurses Ball. While things don't kick into high gear for the event until the Friday, April 5 episode, we at Soap Opera Network wanted to make sure you got a glimpse of some of your favorite actors before their characters start singing, dancing, and throwing punches.
When Ingo Rademacher (Jasper "Jax" Jacks) was announced as a celebrity dancer on "Dancing with the Stars" for the competition series' 16th season, many avid "General Hospital" fans wisely guessed the actor's dancing chops would be tested as part of a cross-promotional opportunity between ABC's primetime juggernaut and the networks daytime soap staple.
