Before “One Life to Live” returned on Monday, April 29 via Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes, we last saw Cutter Wentworth on a phone call while in prison on the ABC incarnation back in January 2012. So how did he get out and get some Shelter at Blair Cramer’s (Kassie DePaiva) new nightclub? “You mean in a TV show people can’t come back from things worse than jail?” jokingly said Cutter’s portrayer, Josh Kelly, during a recent interview with Soap Opera Network. “A lot of people get out of prison, and on a TV show it can happen even easier. People come back from the dead!” the actor noted.

Well wait no longer: The full cast, synopsis and premiere date for the Lifetime series has officially been released!

Premiering Sunday, June 23, on Lifetime, the drama series follows Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty”), Dania Ramirez (“Entourage”), Roselyn Sanchez (“Without a Trace”), Edy Ganem (“Livin’ Loud”) and Judy Reyes (“Scrubs”) as five ambitious maids who, while working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills (including Lucci as Genevieve Delatour), dream of wealthy lives of their own. This makes for one heck of an upstairs-downstairs scenario, which is complicated by murder and mayhem — just like on “Desperate Housewives,” and just like on daytime soaps!

Deadline is reporting that former “Days of our Lives” star Matt Cedeno (ex-Brandon Walker) has landed a recurring role on Lifetime’s “Devious Maids,” which stars Susan Lucci (“All My Children”), Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty”), Roselyn Sanchez (“Without a Trace“), Grant Show (“Melrose Place“) and Brianna Brown (“General Hospital“). Cedeno is said to be featured in the tweaked pilot, which was originally conceived as a possible series for ABC during last seasons development cycle, and will likely be upped to series regular if the show is picked up by Lifetime for a second season. Cedeno will play the role of Alejandro Reyes, “a successful recording artist. Back home after three long months on tour, Alejandro wants to lounge by the pool – while behind his back, Odessa and the new maid Carmen are maneuvering themselves for Total War.”

Warner (ex-Kelsey Jefferson) has joined the cast of the NBC pilot “After Hours,” which centers on a group of Army doctors who work the night shift in the emergency room at San Antonio Medical Center. The series is described as a cross between “ER” and “Mash,” with storylines loosely based on true incidents that have occurred at a real-life hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Warner will portray Amy Budden, a nurse at the hospital.

According to a report by Deadline.com‘s Nellie Andreeva, CBS has canceled freshman comedy “Partners” after the program hit a new series low in the coveted Adults 18-49 demo (1.8 rating) this past Monday. The series starred Brandon Routh (“One Life to Live”), Michael Urie (“Ugly Betty”), David Krumholtz (“Numb3rs”) and Sophia Bush (“One Tree Hill”). The series was based on the lives of creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick as two life-long friends and business partners whose “bromance” is put to the test when one of them becomes engaged.

CBS has released the first group cast photos of “Partners,” the networks new comedy series starring Brandon Routh (“One Life to Live“), Michael Urie (“Ugly Betty“), David Krumholtz (“Numb3rs“) and Sophia Bush (“One Tree Hill“).

Former “One Life to Live” star Brandon Routh (ex-Seth Anderson) and wife Courtney Ford (“True Blood“) have welcomed their first child, reports People Magazine on their website. Leo James Routh, born Friday, August 10, weighed in at 8lbs. and measured 20 1/2 inches.

“We’re in awe … we can’t take our eyes off him!” the two said in a joint statement to People with Routh adding his wife is a “rockstar.”

The couple will celebrate their five-year wedding anniversary in November.

Since leaving “OLTL” in 2002, Routh became a household name in 2006 when he starred as Clark Kent in “Superman Returns.” Although he is not returning as the man in the blue tights when Warner Bros. Pictures releases  “Man of Steel” on June 14, 2013, Routh can next be seen in the new CBS primetime comedy series “Partners.” Based on the lives of creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick as two life-long friends and business partners whose “bromance” is put to the test when one of them becomes engaged, “Partners” stars Michael Urie (“Ugly Betty“) as Louis and David Krumholtz (“Num3ers”) as Joe. Louis is “spontaneous, emotional and prone to exaggeration,” while Joe is an “accomplished architect who leads with his head and not his heart, especially in his love life.” Routh portrays Wyatt, a vegan nurse and Louis’ partner in life. “One Tree Hill‘s” Sophia Bush stars as Ali, Joe’s new fiancé and a “sophisticated jewelry designer.”

“Partners” premieres Monday, September 24 at 8:30 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
