Alison Sweeney Talks About Her New Book and ‘DAYS’ Exit

After saying goodbye to friends and colleagues on Friday, May 23 as she wrapped filming her 21 year run as Samantha "Sami" Brady on NBC's "Days of our Lives," Alison Sweeney is gearing up for the release of "Scared Scriptless," her fourth book. The actress will appear at the NBC Experience Store in New York on Tuesday, June 3 signing purchased copies of her book, which is being released by Hyperion the same day.

As previously reported, Billy Miller is departing CBS' "The Young and the Restless" and the role of Billy Abbott, which garnered him two Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Ricky Paull Goldin Joins ‘B&B’

According to a report by TV Guide's Michael Logan, former "Guiding Light" and "All My Children" star Ricky Paull Goldin is joining the cast of CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" in the recurring role of Jesse, who is the "badass" daddy of Maya's (Karla Mosley) child. Although it wasn't listed with the other "Hot" stuff in TV Guide Magazine's Annual "Hot List" issue (pages 16-35), "General Hospital" did earn a spot under Michael Logan's Daytime Highlights column (page 84) under the heading "Hot Again." NBC's "Days of our Lives" also made the cut under the heading "Hot Days, Hotter Nights" courtesy of daytime's hottest (and only) gay on screen couple, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith).
