During all the commotion surrounding the 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards on Sunday, June 16, came word from "All My Children" actress Eden Riegel (Bianca Montgomery; ex-Heather Stevens, "The Young and the Restless") that she is again with child!
Corbin Bernsen (Henry Spencer, "Psych"; ex-Father Todd Williams, "The Young and the Restless"; ex-John Durant, "General Hospital"), who helped introduce the In Memoriam segment at "The 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" chats with Soap Opera Network on the passing of his mother, Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor, "Y&R"), and the tribute episode celebrating her life and career produced by CBS last month and why she will always be remembered.

Going into Sunday's Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards telecast, CBS Daytime was the most honored network with 51 nominations. By the end of the night, the network went home with 21 statues (eight during broadcast and 13 from creative arts on Friday) covering all genres including soap operas "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "The Young and the Restless," game shows "The Price is Right" and "Let's Make a Deal" and talk show "The Talk."

On Sunday, June 16, during “The 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards,” Doug Davidson took home the Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
As previously reported, "The Young and the Restless'" Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby) will be appearing in the Monday, June 17 "engaged couples" edition of CBS' "The Price is Right." The actor first revealed on Wednesday, May 1 that he had been filming on the "TPIR" set for a segment of the popular game show where tweeted, ”Taping #TPIR today with Gwen, Manuela and Amber .. #ChicksWithAttitude #CWA @CBSdaytime @official_yandr.” The tweet was accompanied by a link to a post on his Facebook page, which showed the beautiful ladies on the set of “TPIR” while they weren’t filming.
Fans of “The Young and the Restless’” Redaric Williams (Tyler Michaelson) no doubt view the Michigan native as a hot hunk. But with a business degree from the University of North Texas under his belt as well as the cajones to start his own social media company, he is much more than just a pretty face. But even with the killer combination of brains and brawn, he admitted to Soap Opera Network that he was very nervous to become a part of Genoa City!

The Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards weekend kicked off on Friday, June 14 with the annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards. CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "The Young and the Restless" are currently leading the way with five wins each, followed by "Days of our Lives" with two and "General Hospital" and "One Life to Live" tied with one each, ironically in the same category.
