CBS Daytime Promotes Three Veterans

Veteran CBS Daytime executives Margot Wain, Ray Paolantonio and Laurie Seidman have been given a promotion, it was announced today by Angelica McDaniel, Executive Vice President, Daytime Programs and Syndicated Program Development, CBS Entertainment and CBS Television Distribution. Wain has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Daytime Programs, and Paolantonio and Seidman have been promoted to Vice Presidents, Daytime Programs.

CBS Renews Daytime Lineup for 2017-18 Season; ‘Y&R’ Gets Three-Year Renewal

With a successful lineup consisting of soap operas, game shows and a hit talk show, CBS announced today that it has renewed its full daytime lineup for the 2017-18 television season. Additionally, "The Young and the Restless" received an overall three-year commitment from the network, keeping it on the air through at least the 2019-2020 television season. "The Price is Right" was renewed through the 2018-19 television season.

‘Y&R’ Up Over First Quarter 2015

Citing newly released Nielsen Media Research ratings data, CBS' "The Young and the Restless" is up during first quarter 2016 over first quarter 2015 in Total Viewers. The daytime drama series averaged 5.38 million viewers during the quarter, which is a gain of 11,000 viewers over the comparable quarter a year ago.

RATINGS: ‘Y&R’ at 5.01 Million, ‘B&B’ at 3.74 Million

CBS Daytime is showing across the board ratings growth compared to one week prior and the same week last year, according to newly released Nielsen Media Research ratings data for the week of February 8-12, 2016. RATINGS: CBS Daytime’s ‘Let’s Make a Deal’ Hits Record Aud, ‘B&B’ and ‘Y&R’ Up Week-to-Week

CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "The Young and the Restless" were both up week-to-week in total viewers during the week of January 18-22, 2016, according to newly released ratings data. Showing a dramatic uptick in audience throughout its current iteration, "Let's Make a Deal 2" delivered its largest weekly audience ever. "Let's Make a Deal 1" delivered its best performance since January 31, 2014.
