Last week Friday Lifetime unexpectedly made the decision to bring back their once canceled, but now twice renewed hit series, “Drop Dead Diva,” for a sixth season set to premiere in 2014. Today, the network sadly opted not to do the same for “The Client List,” which stars Jennifer Love Hewitt as Riley Parks – a single mother of two who happens to make a whole lot of money as a prostitute.
The series – loosely based on the 2010 hit Lifetime original movie of the same name and inspired by a true story – will not return for a third season, confirms a Lifetime representative to Soap Opera Network.
Congratulations are in order for Brian Hallisay and Jennifer Love Hewitt, the stars of Lifetime’s provocative drama “The Client List.” Not only is it revealed that the two are engaged in the newest issue of Us Magazine, on sale now, but the duo are also expecting their first child!
Heartthrob Trevor Donovan (ex-Jeremy Horton, “Days of our Lives”) is a man of many talents: He skis, snowboards, sings, plays the guitar and has a bachelor’s degree in graphic arts. But of his many abilities, acting takes the cake — and it’s something he’s been on a roll doing since he left “DAYS” six years ago. The California native has starred in projects like “90210,” “Savages,” and “The Client List,” and now he’ll add ABC Family’s “Melissa & Joey” to his resume.
Trevor St. John‘s first acting gig was courtesy of the 1993 film “Benny & Joon.” Although he was only a stand-in for Aidan Quinn‘s character, Benjamin “Benny” Pearl,” the actor credits the experience for giving him that certain bug. “The energy and pace of the movie set really caught my interest and was the reason I chose Los Angeles over New York. I’ve wanted to relive that feeling ever since.”
Trevor St. John is returning to Lifetime’s “The Client List” and he’s ready to start some trouble. In the season two premiere episode entitled “‘Till I Can Make it on My Own,” which airs Sunday, March 10 and picks up where the season one finale left off last June, St. John’s character, Officer Nathan Young, finds himself interrupting Riley (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Kyle (Brian Hallisay) as Riley is about to reveal her little secret to her husband.
(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Former “One Life to Live” stars Brian Kerwin (ex-Charlie Banks) and Trevor St. John (ex-Victor Lord, Jr./faux Todd Manning) are scheduled to appear in upcoming episodes of Lifetime’s newest hit drama series “The Client List” starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Soap Opera Network has learned.
Beginning with episode #102 entitled “Turning the Page,” Kerwin begins a multi-episode storyline arc as Garrett, the churchgoing love interest of Cybill Shepherd‘s Linette. The episode airs Sunday, April 15, 2012.
In episode #106 entitled “The Cold Hard Truth,” airing Sunday, May 13, 2012, Trevor St. John appears alongside “Heroes” and “Felicity” star Greg Grunberg.
The two actors will not appear on screen together, however.
“The Client List” airs Sundays at 10/9c on Lifetime. The series also stars Loretta Devine and Colin Egglesfield.
Update 6:55 PM ET: A Lifetime representative tells Soap Opera Network that “Client List” averaged 1.2 million viewers in Adults 18-49 and 1.3 million viewers in Adults 25-54.
(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Lifetime’s new primetime drama series “The Client List,” starring Jennifer Love Hewitt as Riley Parks – a single mother of two who happens to make a whole lot of money as a prostitute, debuted with 2.8 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49, according to ratings figures released today by Nielsen Media Research.
“Client List,” which also stars Colin Egglesfield (ex-Josh Madden, “All My Children”) as Hewitt’s on-screen brother-in-law Evan Parks, is a TV series loosely based on the 2010 hit Lifetime original movie of the same name and inspired by a true story. The film debuted as cable’s second most watched original movie premiere with 3.9 million viewers and 2,099,000 Adults 25-54 viewers, 1,877,000 Adults 18-49 viewers, 1,355,000 Women 18-49 viewers and 1,501,000 Women 25-54 viewers.
In the film version, former “One Life to Live” star Teddy Sears (ex-Chad Bennett) portrayed Hewitt’s husband Rex Horton (Hewitt portrayed Samantha). In the TV series, her husband abandoned her and their kids.
“The Client List,” also starring Cybill Shepherd and Loretta Devine, airs Sundays at 10/9c on Lifetime after all-new episodes of “Army Wives.”
