Say what you will about “Days of our Lives’” Nancy Wesley, but she is definitely a character fans just love to hate. The same can’t be said of her portrayer, Patrika Darbo, who is loved, loved, loved all around for her humor, candidness and ability to play one of daytime’s baddest bitches!

For the week of April 1-5, 2013, CBS' Daytime lineup consisting of "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Let's Make a Deal," "The Price is Right" and "The Talk" increased its total viewing audience year to year and in most key adult demographics.

ABC’s “The View” is hosting a very special “Guy Friday” episode, and guess who’s popping in to co-host? The beloved Patrick Duffy (Bobby Ewing, “Dallas;” ex-Stephen Logan, “The Bold and the Beautiful”)!
Rick and Maya met up for lunch on the rooftop terrace. Dayzee and Caroline were unknowingly adjacent to them. Caroline was being snobbish with a waiter and pondering what pics of her salad she should post online.

A CBS spokesperson has confirmed to Soap Opera Network that "The Bold and the Beautiful's" Zack Conroy (Oliver Jones) will crossover to "The Young and the Restless" for two episodes beginning with the Tuesday, May 21 episode. Conroy will begin filming his May sweeps ending stint in the coming weeks. The news was first reported by Daytime Confidential.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" was nominated for a GLAAD Media Award this year for its first same sex romance storyline "My Two Moms" featuring the characters of Karen and Danielle Spencer (Joanna Johnson and Crystal Chappell) and their welcoming daughter Caroline (Linsey Godfrey). Veteran "B&B" script writers (and LGBT community members) Tracey Ann Kelly and Patrick Mulcahey, along with Head Writer/Executive Producer Bradley P. Bell chatted with On-Air On-Soaps' Michael Fairman in an exclusive interview for FrontiersLA.com, where they opened up about the show finally tackling an LGBT-inspired story.
It was the next morning and Katie told Donna she had no choice but to go and confront Bill and Katie. She gave Donna instructions to watch the baby and left. Liam stopped by looking for Bill. They planned a private meeting at the house. Donna played clueless. Hope appeared and locked eyes with Liam.

As previously reported, the very popular #CBSTweetWeek is back for the forth time since its inception in 2011, and some of the networks biggest stars and creative talent are signing on to Twitter to chat live with fans. This marks the very first time stars from “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” are participating!
At Forrester, Rick and Eric observed some models wearing new lingerie designs. Aside from a few little details, Eric approved. Taylor, followed by Thomas arrived and Thomas hissed that the lingerie won't do for the company what his ideas would have done. Rick disagreed. Taylor sided with her son and warned that Brooke would bring nothing but scandal.

As the popularity of soap operas fell in recent years (shown by decreased ratings and the cancelation of several sudsers, leaving only “The Young and the Restless,” “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of our Lives,” and “General Hospital” on the air), the Daytime Emmy Awards shifted to keep up: Gone were the beloved clips showcasing the nominated actors’ work and the majority of the show celebrating daytime dramas, in were more moments involving morning, talk, game and cooking shows. And rumor had it that the Emmys would become even less soap-centric as the years went on. But according to the Daytime Emmys’ senior executive director, David Michaels, though this year’s program has not yet been set, he’s sure the ceremony will keep soaps front and center, right where they belong! “The daytime fan base comes from all genres,” he tells Variety. “We have a Facebook page, and it’s not just the soap fans. The games and the talk shows have some pretty rabid fans, too. But there’s no fans like soap fans.”
