“General Hospital’s” A.J. Quartermaine has officially bought the farm, and we’ll soon be seeing his portrayer, Sean Kanan, back on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” The actor reprises his role as the love-to-hate-him Deacon Sharpe on Friday, June 13 — and the sudser’s headwriter, Bradley P. Bell, says it’s going to be one hellraising return!

“Deacon is one of our greatest characters — a guy who is all about money, power and status, and this time will be no different,” the scribe reveals in a recent interview with TV Guide. “Deacon is also the father of our central character, Hope Logan [Kim Matula], which makes him especially valuable right now. We’re going to find out that he’s been going from town to town trying to get something going for himself. He eventually finds his way back to Los Angeles, ostensibly because he misses his daughter. But, as we all know, he’d sell her to the highest bidder if it served his purposes.”

Now that “General Hospital’s” Sean Kanan (ex-A.J. Quartermaine) is headed back to “The Bold and the Beautiful” to reprise his role as sleazy con-man Deacon Sharpe, “The Young and the Restless” fans are wondering if the character will be swinging by Genoa City to visit his former lover, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). And while that may be an eventuality, “B&B’s” headwriter, Bradley P. Bell, admits that instead of loaning out Deacon to “Y&R,” he’d rather steal Nikki for his own sudser!

“The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) is on fire! Not only did the athletic actress ace the Abu Dhabi International Triathalon that took place on March 15 in the United Arab Emirates, she followed up the tough challenge by also acing the difficult Ironman triathalon that took place this past Saturday in Oceanside, California!

The busy actress managed to finish the 70.3-mile triathalon  (the half version of the most grueling endurance event in the world, consisting of a 1.20-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1-mile run) in seven hours, one minute and eight seconds. The time landed her in the position of 1,826 out of 2,414 athletes.

Congratulations, Lang!

Though “Days of our Lives’” Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) and Kyle Lowder (ex-Brady Black, “DAYS;” ex-Rick Forrester, “The Bold and the Beautiful”) managed to keep recent details regarding their marriage mostly under wraps, the cat is finally out of the bag: The couple is no longer together.

Soap Opera Digest reports that the pair, who met while filming “DAYS” and later tied the knot in 2002, have officially divorced. “In response to our ongoing inquiries, we would like to announce that with respect to our privacy, we quietly separated awhile ago and are officially divorced,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We continue to remain great friends and loving parents to our daughter [Isabella, 4].”
