The Better Show

When “All My Children’s” Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee Smythe; ex-Michelle Bauer, “Guiding Light”) tweeted “Waiting. Just waiting,” on Sunday, September 7, the world knew it was only a matter of time before the pregnant star would be giving birth. And it looks like yesterday was the special day!

Fans who've attended the "General Hospital" fan club weekend over the years have had the pleasure of experiencing music by former "GH" star Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky Spencer) and his Enation band. Surprisingly enough, the band, which includes Jackson's real-life brother, Richard Lee, and Daniel Sweatt, have yet to perform in front of a national audience. That will soon change when they perform their new single, "Everything Is Possible," from their upcoming fall 2014 album, on ABC's "The View" and the syndicated/online talk show, "The Better Show," co-hosted by former "All My Children" actress Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee Smythe).

Segueing from discussion on baking as a skill that every mom should have on the Wednesday, April 30 edition of her syndicated and online series, "The Better Show," former "All My Children" actress Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee Smythe) announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Michael Benson. "I am five months pregnant," the excited actress shared with viewers and co-host JD Roberto (pictured above with Budig). "There have been a couple of Facebook followers that have guessed that, but I had a lot of tests and things to do and I wanted to make sure it was all okay before I said, 'I'm pregnant!' When her co-host, asked her how she's feeling overall, Budig revealed she's actually quite nervous. "I'm nervous. I'm really scared. I don't think there's a perfect parent and you don't know what you're going to get. I'm a lot more nervous than I thought I'd be."

Former “All My Children” actress Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee Smythe) may be co-hosting “The Better Show,” but that doesn’t mean she’s retired from scripted acting. In fact, the actress will be guest starring on an upcoming episode of the CBS drama “Blue Bloods!”

It was a rare day when “All My Children’s” Greenlee helped anyone but herself, but it’s a whole different story for her former portrayer, Rebecca Budig, whose new gig is exactly the opposite! It was just announced this morning that the Emmy-nominated actress has been named co-host for ‘The Better Show,’ an information talk show that incorporates Better Homes and Gardens, Parents, Family Circle, More and Fitness magazines along with entertainment, celebrity interviews, food, fashion and DIY-related content.
