Ever since word broke that “Desperate Housewives” creator, Marc Cherry, was working on “Devious Maids,” a series that stars “All My Children’s” Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane), fans have been chomping at the bit for more information and an airdate. Well wait no longer: The full cast, synopsis and premiere date for the Lifetime series has officially been released!

Premiering Sunday, June 23, on Lifetime, the drama series follows Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty”), Dania Ramirez (“Entourage”), Roselyn Sanchez (“Without a Trace”), Edy Ganem (“Livin’ Loud”) and Judy Reyes (“Scrubs”) as five ambitious maids who, while working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills (including Lucci as Genevieve Delatour), dream of wealthy lives of their own. This makes for one heck of an upstairs-downstairs scenario, which is complicated by murder and mayhem — just like on “Desperate Housewives,” and just like on daytime soaps!

The OnLine Network has announced that Paula Garces (ex-Pilar Santos, “Guiding Light”), best known for her portrayal of Maria in the “Harold & Kumar” film franchise has joined the cast of the networks “All My Children.”

Garces will portray the contract role of Lea Marquez, “a smart, savvy, beautiful woman who’s devoted her life to a career of fighting crime and bringing down the bad guys.

Viewers keeping up with the latest “All My Children” comings and goings news know that Daytime Emmy Award nominated actress Alicia Minshew has been in discussions to return to the internet revival of the soap opera, which she starred on from 2002 to 2011. TVLine broke the news on Thursday afternoon that the return of the eldest child of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci), Kendall Hart, as portrayed by Minshew is now a done deal. Minshew will make her return sooner than expected; she tapes scenes opposite Eden Riegel, who plays Kendall’s little sister Bianca Montgomery, later today as “AMC” wraps up its first round of taping. Seconds before TVLine put up the news bulletin, Minshew took to Twitter to exclaim to fans her impending plans: “Guess who is popping into Pine Valley for the day?…um me! Excited to see the gang tomorrow! Gonna wear Kendall’s sassy shoes!!”
