Shemar Moore

On Tuesday, December 9, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) announced the nominees for the 46th Annual NAACP Image Awards. For the first time since at least 1994, when the category was first recognized, no actor or actress from a daytime drama series was nominated in the Outstanding Actor or Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series following the organizations decision not to include the categories this year. Representatives for the NAACP have yet to officially comment on the matter at press time.

Former soap star Eden Riegel (ex-Heather Stevens, “The Young and the Restless;” ex-Bianca Montgomery, “All My Children”) may have bowed out from the daytime world for the time being, but she’s still hard at work in front of the camera, this time on CBS’ primetime hit, “Criminal Minds.” And Soap Opera Network is bringing you the first sneak peek at the actress’ stint on the show, which also stars “Y&R’s” Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm Winters)!

Fall has officially hit “The Young and the Restless’” Genoa City, but the big fall — or rather fallout — you’ve been waiting for regarding the Neil, Hilary and Devon triangle has yet to descend. But Mishael Morgan (Hilary) says that’s all about to change! Soap Opera Network caught up with the actress, who reveals that her alter ego’s rendezvous with father/son pair Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Devon (Bryton James) is on the verge of exploding — and it’s going to leave one ugly Winters family mess!

Featuring the long-awaited return of Shemar Moore as Malcolm Winters, CBS' "The Young and the Restless" posted its largest weekly audience and best Women 18-49 rating since March, per Nielsen Media Research ratings data. Did Moore help boost the soap?

There was a lot of excitement surrounding the return of “Criminal Minds” star Shemar Moore as “The Young and the Restless’” Malcolm Winters, but did his two-day appearance in Genoa City live up to the hype?

You don’t have to be a criminal to know that “Criminal Minds” star Shemar Moore is gonna steal the show on “The Young and the Restless” this week when he returns as the very popular character Malcolm Winters. And it’ll happen for good reason: The storyline that brings him back is filled with drama, tears and heart wrenching emotion. But don’t take our word for it: Moore himself opened up about the touching moments that will play out when he appears in Genoa City on Wednesday, September 10 and Thursday, September 11!

“The Young and the Restless’” Genoa City became a powerhouse place today with the return of Eileen Davidson’s Ashley Abbott, but she’s not the only one set to turn the canvas completely upside down in the weeks to come!

Get ready to drop it like it’s hot, because “The Young and the Restless’” Shemar Moore was in the house (Neil’s house, specifically) to talk about his upcoming return as Malcolm Winters — and the heat really is too much to handle! From stepping back into Genoa City, to reuniting with his daytime counterparts, to details regarding the new season of his hit primetime series, “Criminal Minds,” the actor spilled every fiery little detail. So read on... if you dare!

As previously reported, "Criminal Minds" star Shemar Moore is returning to CBS' "The Young and the Restless" on Wednesday, September 10 and Thursday, September 11, to once again portray his iconic role of Malcolm Winters on the daytime drama series. In a newly released promo set to the song "More, More, More" by Clooney, the network is getting fans pumped with shots of Moore on a studio lot in between filming takes (not "Y&R") and generally being his oh, so sexy self. No storyline details were revealed, however.

They say home is where the heart is, and it’s a saying that members of “The Young and the Restless’” Winters family take literally. Not only have brothers Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Malcolm (Shemar Moore) shared Drucilla (Victoria Rowell), Alex (Alexia Robinson), Sofia (Julia Pace Mitchell) and Olivia (Tonya Lee Williams) in some way or another, Neil’s adopted son, Devon (Bryton James), has followed in the family tradition: He and Neil’s wife, Hilary (Mishael Morgan), are secretly in love with each other! Add into the mix Neil’s recent blindness, his past with alcoholism and a flash return visit by his brother, Malcolm, and you’ve got one heck of a mess that’s sure to make “Y&R’s” Fall Sweeps a can’t-miss event! Soap Opera Network met up with St. John to get the scoop on the juicy drama ahead, and he reveals that what you’re seeing now is just the tip of the iceberg!
