On the Friday, June 14 edition of "The Talk," Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards co-host and Showbiz Tonight host, A.J. Hammer, stopped by CBS' "The Talk" to chat with the ladies (Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler, Sheryl Underwood, Julie Chen and Sara Gilbert) about daytime biggest event!

We're certainly hoping that the 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards will feature tons of soap opera related content, but we don't want to forget about all of the other daytime programming set to shine during the big night! Several other categories will be celebrated, and HLN just released the list of presenters who will be handing out the coveted awards.

This marks the second consecutive year in which "The Talk" pays tribute to Daytime Emmy Award winners from across all dayparts invited to appear live on the show following their industries biggest night.

“The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” have had their fair share of daddy-centric storylines, and now two of CBS Daytime’s other shows are trying to catch up! Just in time for Father’s Day, both “The Talk” and “The Price is Right” will be featuring special “dad” episodes, and the latter will also be airing a special “high school graduates” episode.

When five smart, high-powered, self-made women get together, claws generally come out and the fur flies. But that’s the exact opposite of what happened when CBS’s Watch magazine recently gathered the women of “The Talk” — Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler — together for a very candid roundtable interview.“There are a lot of representations of women on television where they just aren’t being kind to each other,” Tyler says of what makes “The Talk” stand out. “Female-focused television has become antagonistic—some of the most popular shows are about women competing with each other—and I don’t think there are any shows where the women are as supportive and as kind to each other.”

As Senior Vice President of CBS Daytime, Angelica McDaniel is ultimately responsible for the daily operation of television's most popular daily lineup consisting of "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Let's Make a Deal," "The Price is Right," "The Talk" and "The Young and the Restless." Just a few weeks ago, Soap Opera Network had the opportunity of speaking with McDaniel about her diverse lineup filled with soap operas, game shows and talk shows.

As previously reported, the very popular #CBSTweetWeek is back for the forth time since its inception in 2011, and some of the networks biggest stars and creative talent are signing on to Twitter to chat live with fans. This marks the very first time stars from “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” are participating!

On Monday, March 19, "The Talk" will celebrate 25 years of CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful," with a special commemorative show featuring much of the current cast including John McCook, Texas Battle, Jacob Young, Katherine Kelly Lang, Kimberly Matula and Heather Tom.
