“Days of our Lives” stars Freddie Smith (Sonny Kiriakis) and Shawn Christian (Daniel Jonas) have a lot to celebrate. In addition to surpassing their Kickstarter page donation goal for their new web comedy project, “Addicts Anonymous,” a new star has joined the cast: “Full House” alum, Lori Loughlin!
Loughlin, who’s also known for her roles on “The Edge of Night,” “Summerland,” and the new “90210,” will play Smith’s character’s mother (opposite Christian, who will portray Smith’s character’s dad) if the project is made.
Check out the “Addicts Anonymous” Kickstarter page for more information and to find out how you can help create the potential web series, which also stars comedy veterans Matt Walsh (“Veep,” “Ted,” “The Hangover,” “Old School”) and Jerry Lambert (“Shameless,” Family Guy,” “Bad Teacher”), and former “DAYS” beauty Molly Burnett (ex-Melanie Kiriakis).

Soap fans can’t help but think of Anne Heche as “Another World‘s” Vicky Hudson, but the busy actress has carved a successful path in primetime and is about to shine in NBC’s “Save Me,” a new comedy that will have the Primetime Emmy nominee talking to God!

NBC’s popular comedy, “The Office,” just aired its final episode, but fans of the single-camera mockumentary may have something similar to look forward to: “Days of our Lives” stars Shawn Christian (Daniel Jonas) and Freddie Smith (Sonny Kiriakis) have teamed up with Jack Briggs and Nate Hartley to create “Addicts Anonymous,” a possible web-bound comedy that brings the Peacock Network’s Dunder Mifflin-based show to mind — with a slight “The Breakfast Club” twist!
The show, which will also star comedy veterans Matt Walsh (“Veep,” “Ted,” “The Hangover,” “Old School”) and Jerry Lambert (“Shameless,” Family Guy,” “Bad Teacher”), along with former “DAYS” beauty, Molly Burnett (ex-Melanie Kiriakis), is about a group of college students — all battling different addictions — working through their problems in one room.

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — According to ABC Soaps in Depth, “General Hospital” has cast actor and model Christian Monzon in the recurring role of Eddie Cabrera – the onscreen husband of Delores Padilla (portrayed by Rebeka Montoya). While the character had been discussed on numerous occasions for several months, it wasn’t clear if he would ever be seen. A first airdate is set for the week of April 16.
Before joining “GH,” Monzon appeared in episodes of several television series including “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “CSI: Miami” and “CSI: NY,” “The Closer,” HBO‘s” Entourage” and most recently Showtime‘s “Shameless.” In 2010, he appeared in the series finale of “Dollhouse.” He can also be seen in episodes of the 2008 online series ”Hot Hot Los Angeles,” which can currently be viewed for free on Hulu.com. The actor is also known for his appearances in Dolce & Gabbana ad campaigns.
As part of Wyndotte Street, a production company that provides original online music and comedy, Monzon has starred in several shorts that he either wrote or helped produce such as “Naked Man,” a comedy series where he portrays a naked superhero (no worries, they blur out everything below the waste), and “Wyndotte Presents: (I’m At Work),” a sketch comedy following life within the walls of an office building.
