As expected, on Wednesday, June 11, CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" took home its ninth consecutive Golden Nymph at the International TV Audience Awards during the 54th Monte Carlo Television Festival in Monte Carlo. The soap won in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category. "B&B" executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell and cast members Kim Matula (Hope Logan), Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan Forrester) and Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester) accepted the award on stage at the Closing Awards Ceremony at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo.

CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" is currently living it up in Monte Carlo as it prepares for the Monte Carlo Television Festival’s International TV Audience Awards, where it is nominated in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category, which honors programs that garnered the highest number of viewers worldwide in 2013 across five continents. On the road to the big night, which takes place on Wednesday, June 11, the show's cast celebrated the festival's opening night of glamour and took part in a photocall and autograph signing.

To coincide with its 25th year broadcasting in France on Thursday, June 12 (airing on France 2), CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" announced today plans to film on location in the French capital of Paris next week.

For the ninth consecutive year CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" received a nomination for the Monte Carlo Television Festival’s International TV Audience Awards, which honors programs that garnered the highest number of viewers worldwide in 2013 across five continents. "B&B" is nominated in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category. To coincide with its nomination, the soap has announced the addition of Australian actress Ashleigh Brewer (ex- Kate Ramsay, "Neighbours") to its cast in the newly created contract role of Ivy Forrester, who is the niece of patriarch Eric Forrester (John McCook).

Just before learning he was once again nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Liam Spencer on CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful," actor Scott Clifton took time out of his busy day to speak with Soap Opera Network about a topic that he is very passionate about: Animals. Although Clifton was battling pneumonia at the time of our discussion, his passion for those animals desperately in need of the love and companionship that one can bring helped him push forward as he provided details on how the storyline featuring the Los Angeles Animal Shelter came about, the behind the scenes reality surrounding Liam's gift to girlfriend Hope Logan (Kim Matula), and how he went from a dog person to a cat person.

When Bradford Anderson woke up this morning he didn't immediately know that he had received his fifth Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of Damian Spinelli on ABC's "General Hospital." How is that even possible, you ask? "I sleep with my phone off," the actor admits. "That's the fun thing about being on the west coast. You generally wake up to the news." He adds, "Just turning on my phone and seeing how many emails and texts I get is generally an indication of a 'yay' or a 'nay.'"

Today, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences officially announced the nominees of the 41st annual Daytime Emmy Awards! The list of pre-noms in the categories for Outstanding Drama Series, Lead Actor and Actress, Supporting Actor and Actress, Younger Actor and Actress and more was whittled down to just a few final contenders who will compete for the coveted National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Emmy award statuettes during the event that will be taking place on Sunday, June 22.
