Best known for his stints on CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" and NBC's "Days of our Lives," actor Brandon Beemer is set to star in the Hallmark Movie Channel original movie, "Wedding Planner Mystery," which premieres tonight at 9:00 PM ET/8:00 PM CT. The film tells the story of Carnegie Kincaid, a young wedding planner who is framed for a crime and struggles to clear her name as she learns that love does not always arrive in a pretty package. The role of the wedding planner is played by Erica Durance, who is best known for her seven-year stint as Lois Lane on The WB/CW drama series, "Smallville." Beemer plays Holt Walker, a mystery man that may have something to do with the crime Carnegie's being framed for. This, however, does not deter her from falling for Holt.

The world was shocked by the news of actor Robin Williams’ suicide on Monday, August 11, and his “The Crazy Ones” co-star, Sarah Michelle Gellar (ex-Kendall Hart, “All My Children”) was no exception. The actress released a statement to People.com about the actor, calling him the father she “always dreamed of having.”

As we previously reported, “The Young and the Restless’” Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) is guest-starring on tonight’s episode of CBS’ hit sitcom, “The Crazy Ones.” The actress will be playing boozy librarian named Flora who enlists the help of Simon (Robin Williams) and his team to help her save her library.

“The Young and the Restless’” Melody Thomas Scott just celebrated her 35th anniversary playing Nikki Newman, and what better way to kick off her 36th year than with a stellar guest-gig playing a character who has a boozy past that dang near rivals her Genoa City alter ego’s? As we previously reported, the actress is doing just that: She's headed to CBS’s sitcom “The Crazy Ones” later this month, and guess what? Soap Opera Network is bringing you the first look at Scott in her exciting primetime role!

Melody Thomas Scott may be celebrating her 35th anniversary as “The Young and the Restless’” Nikki Newman, but that doesn’t mean her Genoa City alter ego is the only acting challenge on her plate: She’s booked a guest starring role on CBS’s “The Crazy Ones!” And guess what? The Los Angeles native will be playing a boozy librarian — which won’t be a far stretch, considering Nikki is a recovering alcoholic!
