Paos Revolution Releases Plans for ‘Perfect Day’ Reality Series with Jordi Vilasuso

, whose tagline is flipping the script on soaps, announced today plans for its pilot episode of “Perfect Day.” Described as a reality series which will profile various daytime soap stars along with one of their fans and an important charity the actor supports is scheduled for release in the coming months.

In the first episode set to film this summer, Paos has chosen Jacob’s Ladder, a center for Autistic Children in Atlanta, as the first charity they will support for their venture. , sister of Paos Revolution founding partner Jeff ‘Dock’ Dockweiler, is the chosen fan for the pilot episode.

Pine Valley Buzzes With New Life!

’s” Pine Valley has been a bit of ghost town since the show left the air back in 2011, but not any more: Monday, February 25 marked the first day that past and new actors alike stepped into ’s version of the legendary soap’s fictional town in Stamford, Connecticut — and judging by actor tweets, it seems the first week of taping is going well!

“It was a bright, sunny day in Pine Valley today, even for Dr. D!” joked , who has reprised his role as David. Added Eric Nelson, who’s playing a SORASed AJ: “Filming today was amazing… I have the best cast and crew ever!”

‘On Air’ Follows Life After the Death of a Canceled Soap

“I wish she’d tell me what she was thinking” are the first spoken words in the teaser trailer for the upcoming  film “” by , a new production company formed by (“,” “Guidiing Light”) and acting coaches from “AMC” and “.” The film will tell the fictionalized story of life after a popular soap opera gets canceled and how the stars of the program are forced to move on.

In the teaser, Vilasuso is joined by former “AMC” co-star , whose character says that she “gave ten years of [her] life to that show. I still can’t believe we got canceled.” While the line provides an unintentional punch to soap fans still reeling from the loss of the ABC drama series as Minshew portrayed Kendall Hart on the program for nearly ten years, it does show that life does go on. While we will no longer be seeing some of our favorite stars portraying some of our all-time favorite characters, the business of soaps will continue in one form or another.
