‘Are We There Yet?’: An Update on ‘AMC’ and ‘OLTL’s’ New Connecticut Studio

With "All My Children" currently filming its second weeks worth of shows and "One Life to Live" scheduled to begin filming on Monday, March 18, Soap Opera Network has learned new information about the studio NEP Broadcasting had been constructing for both soaps at the Connecticut Film Center (CFC) in Stamford, which previously housed production for the TBS sitcom "Are We There Yet?"

Michael Easton: Your Kind Words of Support Mean the World To Me

Michael Easton (John McBain) posted an update for fans wanting to know where he currently stands in the dispute between ABC's "General Hospital" and TOLN's "One Life to Live." In a Facebook message, the actor said, "THANK YOU...your kind words of support mean the world to me. No word yet on when we might return to work but the fridge is stocked, the bills are paid, and I get to spend lots of precious time with my little girl."

UPDATE: ‘One Life to Live’ Film Schedule Pushed Back; Roger Howarth’s Return Still On As Planned

According to Robin Strasser (Dorian Lord) via her fan hotline (212-414-5300), "One Life to Live" will now begin filming new episodes for Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes on Monday, March 18. Previously, the series was scheduled to commence filming on Monday, March 11. The actress brought the news to light despite being unwell at the time. Early this morning Strasser tweeted, "What a difference a week makes when you're feeling weak (lol) not sick of word play-just saying."

Full ‘All My Children’ Cast List Revealed!

The OnLine Network (TOLN) has confirmed the following stars who have joined the cast of "All My Children." As previously reported, "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" began production on Monday, February 25 in Stamford, CT for new episodes scheduled to release later this spring on Hulu and iTunes. Both the "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" official Facebook pages are seeking questions from fans to ask Agnes Nixon, creator of both legendary soap operas. Out of the all the questions submitted, 10 will be sent over to Nixon to answer next week just as each series goes into production in Stamford, CT. It is understood that 10 questions will be sent over for "AMC" and another 10 for "OLTL."

Shenell Edmonds Declined ‘One Life to Live’ Reboot

Soap Opera Network has learned exclusively that Laura Harrier has been cast in the contract role of Destiny Evans on "One Life to Live." She replaces Shenell Edmonds, who portrayed the character on the ABC version of the series from 2009-2012.
