The harrowing real-life case of Jodi Arias has gripped the nation for months, and hot off the heels of the 28-year-old woman’s conviction last week for murdering her former lover, Travis Alexander, comes a Lifetime original movie detailing Arias’ life and the details behind the killing that shocked America.

ABC has consistently brought soap-worthy programming to primetime (“Desperate Housewives” and “Revenge,” to name but two), and the schedule for this fall is no different: Intermixing with popular mainstay shows like “The Middle,” “Modern Family,” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” come thirteen brand new shows, a few of which may spur “General Hospital” and other daytime soaps to come to mind! And Wendy Moniz (ex-Mayor Finn, “One Life to Live,” ex-Dinah Marler, “Guiding Light”) strengthens the soap/primetime connection with a role in the new drama, “Betrayal.” Read on to get the exciting details!

Though the official announcement of FOX’s fall schedule won’t be happening until Monday, the network has released a sneak peek of the new programming it has picked up and plans to air near the end of the year. And it looks like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” a comedy starring “One Life to Live’s” Melissa Fumero (ex-Adriana Cramer) made the cut! In the 60th anniversary special double issue of TV Guide Magazine (April 8 - 21, 2013), ABC's "General Hospital" secured a four-page spread on its 50th anniversary, but Luke and Laura Spencer (Anthony Geary and Genie Francis) ultimately secured the biggest spotlight of them all. The dynamic duo, in their famous wedding shot compiled of past covers of TV Guide Magazine, received the back cover spot of the mag which features the hit shows from every decade since the publications launch including "I Love Lucy" (1950s), "Star Trek" (1960s), "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" (1970s), "The Cosby Show" (1980s), "The Simpsons" (1990s) and "Lost" (2000s) on special collector's edition front cover copies of the celebratory issue.

On Tuesday, May 17, the ABC Television Network presented its 2011-2012 primetime schedule in front of advertisers, affiliates and the press. Two months earlier I received intel on a new series called "Once Upon a Time" that the network had in development where fairy tales and the modern-day collide in the town of Storybooke.
