Whoever said daytime was a dying industry clearly didn’t have a very reliable crystal ball: CBS Daytime ratings are skyrocketing across the board!

It’s not hard to laugh, but across the board, daytime stars agree that it’s not easy to be funny! That being said, some of the industry’s most popular talent — “The Price Is Right’s” Drew Carey, “Let’s Make a Deal’s” Wayne Brady, and “The Talk’s” Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood — certainly make it look easy to be hilarious day in and day out. Noticing the top-notch humor present in their daytime lineup, CBS decided to gather those said stars together at Hollywood’s legendary venue, The Comedy Store, to perform an evening of standup comedy benefitting a cancer charity. The result: CBS Daytime After Dark, Stand Up to Cancer — a fun event definitely worth smiling about!
America's most watched network (CBS) and the second largest cable operator in the country (Time Warner Cable) are battling it out over retransmission fees and come Wednesday, July 24, fans of CBS' programming including "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "The Talk," "The Big Bang Theory," "2 Broke Girls," and more could find their screens blackened if they live in:
Aisha Tyler ("The Talk") and Wayne Brady ("Let's Make a Deal") are not only appearing daily in their successful CBS Daytime shows, but the two have also joined together to successfully re-launch "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" the former ABC series "where everything is made up and the points do not matter." Now airing on The CW for a summer run, "Whose Line" averaged 2.9 million viewers and 1.1/4 in Adults 18-49 for its two-episode premiere last night according to TVbytheNumbers. Per the website, show helped give The CW its best performance in Adults 18-49 rating in its given time period since February 1, 2011.
For the week of June 10-14, 2013, CBS Daytime once again led all networks in the households and total viewers. Consisting of soap operas "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "The Young and the Restless," game shows "Let's Make a Deal" and "The Price is Right" and talk show "The Talk," CBS was up week-to-week in viewers and the Women 25-54 demo. "Y&R" was up 5% in both viewers and women 25-54, while "B&B" was up 4% in viewers and 7% in women 25-54.

Going into Sunday's Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards telecast, CBS Daytime was the most honored network with 51 nominations. By the end of the night, the network went home with 21 statues (eight during broadcast and 13 from creative arts on Friday) covering all genres including soap operas "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "The Young and the Restless," game shows "The Price is Right" and "Let's Make a Deal" and talk show "The Talk."

CBS has released an on air promo touting all the sexy hitting its daytime programming consisting of "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "The Price is Right," "Let's Make a Deal" and "The Talk." The just released promo features some of the hot, sexy and very shirtless men of CBS Daytime.

As Senior Vice President of CBS Daytime, Angelica McDaniel is ultimately responsible for the daily operation of television's most popular daily lineup consisting of "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Let's Make a Deal," "The Price is Right," "The Talk" and "The Young and the Restless." If you thought Oprah giving away cars was a big deal, wait until you see what CBS Daytime has in store for the week of April 22 through the 26, when “The Talk,” “The Price Is Right,” and “Let’s Make a Deal” participate in the network’s exciting Big Money Week!
For the week of April 1-5, 2013, CBS' Daytime lineup consisting of "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Let's Make a Deal," "The Price is Right" and "The Talk" increased its total viewing audience year to year and in most key adult demographics.
As previously reported, the very popular #CBSTweetWeek is back for the forth time since its inception in 2011, and some of the networks biggest stars and creative talent are signing on to Twitter to chat live with fans. This marks the very first time stars from “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” are participating!
