The power of Twitter strikes again: After featuring a popular episode in which fans had the ability to enact game-changing elements via the social media site, CBS’ “Let’s Make a Deal” is bringing its Twitter episode back once more!
As Soap Opera Network gets ready to celebrate its 13th anniversary on Wednesday, October 8, we are proud to announce that we will begin providing our readers with weekly ratings reports for not just the daytime soaps, but also talk shows "The Chew," "The Talk," "The View," "The Today Show 2" and "The Today Show 3," as well as game shows "Let's Make a Deal" and "The Price is Right," along with the previously reported ratings for "The Young and the Restless," "Days of our Lives," "General Hospital" and "The Bold and the Beautiful." The charts, which will vary week to week, does not take away from the weekly daytime drama rankings we will continue posting each week, but instead represents what daytime programming as a whole looks like when compared with one another and not based solely on genre.
With game shows "Let's Make a Deal" and "The Price is Right," "The Talk" and daytime drama "The Bold and the Beautiful," CBS Daytime continues to grow its audience year-over-year after just one week into the new television season (week of September 22-26) based on Nielsen Media Research live plus same day ratings data.

The final week of the 2013-2014 television season came to a close last week (week of September 15-19, 2014) and CBS Daytime ended the year on top for the 28th consecutive year! "The Bold and the Beautiful" attracted its largest audience since the 2006-07 television season, while "The Young and the Restless" scored its most watched season in viewers since the 2009-10 television season. Meanwhile, "Let's Make a Deal" and "The Talk" hit their best numbers ever in viewers as "The Price is Right 1" delivered its largest audience since the 2004-05 season and "The Price is Right 2" brought in its biggest audience since the 2006-07 season.

As previously reported, CBS leads the pack with 61 nominations overall with "The Young and the Restless" in particular leading all shows with 26 nominations. But, how do the other networks and shows stack up?
Like it did last year, CBS swept "The 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" nominations with 61 nominations in total, leading all networks. This was an increase from the 49 nominations it received last year. "The Young and the Restless" led the way for the network with 26 nominations overall. It was followed by "The Bold and the Beautiful" with 18. Like last year, "The Talk" had 5 nominations. "CBS Sunday Morning" and "Let's Make a Deal" each received 3 nominations, while "The Price is Right" had 2 and "CBS This Morning" had 1. When CBS opted to honor the life of Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor, "Y&R) with a special tribute airing in place of an original episode of the daytime soap, the decision resulted in an Emmy nomination for the emotional road down memory lane.
