In a new interview with Carolyn Hinsey‘s “Tainted Dreams” blog, Kassie DePavia reveals her excitement on the return of “One Life to Live” and previews fans on what they can expect from the show now that it is being produced by Prospect Park.
“My whole body just shook with happiness. I am so glad to be doing this again. There is a really good energy there. So many of the people that I had grown to love at ‘One Life to Live‘ are there, and I had a complete flashback to P&G [Procter & Gamble] with all the people working there that I know from ‘Guiding Light,’” says DePavia, who began her daytime career on “GL” as Chelsea Reardon from 1986-1991 before taking over the role of Blair on “One Life” in 1993.

Although fans of ABC’s “General Hospital” got their first glimpse of Sean Kanan back on screen as AJ Quartermaine on the Friday, October 26 episode, they didn’t learn much about why the character had returned to Port Charles. Kanan himself may be able to shed some light when he joins fans for an upcoming live Twitter chat during the east coast broadcast of the daytime drama series.
With Monica (Leslie Charleson) appearing overjoyed after seeing at least one of her sons still alive (Jason “died” just last week), one has to wonder who else will be happy to see AJ back, if anyone, as the character (last portrayed by Billy Warlock) was killed off in a murder mystery storyline that resulted in everyone discovering it was Michael’s psychiatrist that murdered the alcoholism plagued Quartermaine back in 2005. It’s not likely Carly (Laura Wright) or Michael (Chad Duell) will be happy to see the man back in town, much less still alive, but his return will sure help drive some juicy storytelling for all of Port Charles.
As part of “ABC’s Trick or Tweet” week, which began on Wednesday, October 24, Kanan joins a number of ABC’s primetime and daytime stars as they tweet live during Halloween-inspired episodes of their shows. On Monday, October 29,From 2:00-3:00 PM ET/11:00 AM-Noon PT, Kanan will be answering questions submitted by fans who use the official #GH hashtag via his Twitter page (@SeanKanan).
