“The Young and the Restless” may have lost some pretty popular actors as of late, but that can only mean one thing: There are some prime Genoa City spots to fill! And one of the open positions already has its face: “Parenthood” and “Jane By Design” actor Matthew Atkinson!
A rep for the show confirms that the actor has joined the CBS sudser in the recurring role of Austin. He reports to work at “Y&R” tomorrow and will debut onscreen on Thursday, April 17. Confirmed for several episodes, look for him to share scenes with Steve Burton (Dylan) and Jessica Collins (Avery), where he’ll play a cameraman working with Avery on her brand new venture!
“I feel like our cast is growing so huge,” says Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman) on “Y&R’s” recent growth. “It’s fun, and it’s exciting to see and meet new faces.”
