ABC has consistently brought soap-worthy programming to primetime (“Desperate Housewives” and “Revenge,” to name but two), and the schedule for this fall is no different: Intermixing with popular mainstay shows like “The Middle,” “Modern Family,” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” come thirteen brand new shows, a few of which may spur “General Hospital” and other daytime soaps to come to mind! And Wendy Moniz (ex-Mayor Finn, “One Life to Live,” ex-Dinah Marler, “Guiding Light”) strengthens the soap/primetime connection with a role in the new drama, “Betrayal.” Read on to get the exciting details!
A Prospect Park representative has confirmed to Soap Opera Network that Stephen ‘Foz’ McDermott, who was officially named head of production for the company’s internet hub TOLN on Monday, January 7, has been let go. The rep tells us that McDermott’s departure from the company will not put a dent in production of “All My Children” or “One Life to Live,” which will begin filming in Stamford, CT next month.

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Former “One Life to Live” stars Brian Kerwin (ex-Charlie Banks) and Trevor St. John (ex-Victor Lord, Jr./faux Todd Manning) are scheduled to appear in upcoming episodes of Lifetime’s newest hit drama series “The Client List” starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Soap Opera Network has learned.
Beginning with episode #102 entitled “Turning the Page,” Kerwin begins a multi-episode storyline arc as Garrett, the churchgoing love interest of Cybill Shepherd‘s Linette. The episode airs Sunday, April 15, 2012.
In episode #106 entitled “The Cold Hard Truth,” airing Sunday, May 13, 2012, Trevor St. John appears alongside “Heroes” and “Felicity” star Greg Grunberg.
The two actors will not appear on screen together, however.
“The Client List” airs Sundays at 10/9c on Lifetime. The series also stars Loretta Devine and Colin Egglesfield.

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) – Rebeka Montoya, best known for her role as Gina in the online series “Heroes: Going Postal” alongside former “GH” and “Port Charles” actor Kiko Ellsworth, is joining the cast of “General Hospital” in the recurring role of Delores Padilla.
In addition to appearing in such shows as UPN‘s “Eve” and NBC’s “Las Vegas,” Montoya appeared in the 2009 NBC mini-series “The Storm” along with “GH” actress Erin Chambers (Siobhan McKenna), James Van Der Beek (“Dawson’s Creek,” “Apartment 23“), Treat Williams (“Everwood”), Marisol Nichols (“GCB: Good Christian Bitches”) and Luke Perry (“Beverly Hills, 90210“).
Montoya’s first episode is set to air on Tuesday, September 27. She began filming on Thursday, August 18.

Montoya’s character will be working heavily with PCPD’s finest in solving the crimes of Port Charles.
