Lavoisier Lands Primetime Gig

John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex) is branching out from his daytime role on "One Life to Live." In addition to co-starring alongside his real and reel life girlfriend Farah Fath (Gigi) in the upcoming E! series "Dirty Soap," Lavoisier has also landed a guest starring role in the CBS primetime series "The Mentalist."

Look Who Never Left!

Back in June at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, "One Life to Live" executive producer Frank Valentini alluded to Soap Opera Network that we hadn't seen the last of Farah Fath despite her character, Gigi Morasco, being killed off. In our Twitter posting that night, we stated "according to Frank Valentini, more surprises in store for #OLTL. Have we seen the last of Gigi? Don't believe what you see!" Come August, that's never been more certain!

E! To Premiere ‘Dirty Soap,’ a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Real Lives of Soap Stars

Because we were working overtime trying to get the re-designed website up while also transferring servers, we didn't get a chance to report on this. For those who may have missed out on it all, E! is debuting a new reality series that actually covers the behind the scenes lives of some of your favorite soap stars for a change and not those "Real Housewives" we've gotten bored with from network sibling Bravo.

Even though his fiancé is six feet under, in the coming weeks Rex Balsom (John-Paul Lavoisier) will have several visions of the love of his life from beyond the grave. But are Gigi's (Farah Fath) spiritual visits real or merely a product of his over active imagination? That is what he sets out to prove. However, as Rex grows obsessed with…

It’s ‘Life’ After Death for Farah Fath

It appears that not even death can keep Gigi Morasco (Farah Fath) away from Llanview and her beloved Rex (John-Paul Lavoisier). Fath revealed recently that, even after her character's demise, "I can't say that I'm 100% done with the show." True to her word, the actress brings Gigi back to "Life" in the coming weeks when Rex needs her the most. But is it really her spirit that is seeing, or simply a product of his grieving, overactive imagination?

Brandon Buddy Out! Farah Fath Next?

While reports were stating Brandon Buddy is set to exit ABC's "One Life to Live" later this fall when his contract expires, Soap Opera Network was unable to confirm the news through proper channels, but sources have since confirmed that Buddy will in fact be leaving the soap in the coming months.
