As previously reported, cast members from CBS' "The Young and the Restless" appeared on yesterday's edition of "Marie." In honor of the soaps 40th anniversary, the Marie Osmond hosted talker paid tribute to the memory of "Y&R" co-creator and head writer, William J. Bell, and highlighted the longest-running feud in daytime soap history - Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton).

On the Monday, April 1 edition of daytime talker "Marie," Marie Osmond is joined by the cast of CBS' "The Young and the Restless" as they celebrate the 40th anniversary of their show.

On Friday, April 5, "The Young and the Restless" stars Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Doug Davidson (Paul Williams), Lauralee Bell (Christine Williams), Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor), Jess Walton (Jill Abbott), Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers Newman) are scheduled to appear on Hallmark Channel's new series "Planet 360" in celebration of "Y&R's" 40th anniversary, which will air on Tuesday, March 26 on CBS.

The peer votes have been cast, and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has announced the Drama Performer Pre-Nominations for the 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards! Five categories have been announced, including Lead Actress and Lead Actor, Supporting Actress and Supporting Actor, as well as Younger Actress and Younger Actor. Without further adieu, here are the pre-nominees:

During tonight's Paley Center LA event in Beverly Hills, CA, celebrating 10,000 episodes of "The Young and the Restless," former head writer and executive producer, Maria Arena Bell, joined cast members Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Eric Braeden (Victor Abbott), Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor), Doug Davidson (Paul Williams), Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin), Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters), and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Newman) to talk about the shows legacy.

Soaps In Depth is reporting that CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" is about to lose another "core four" member as Susan Flannery (Stephanie Forrester) has informed producers and the shows writing team that she plans to leave the series at the end of her newly signed short-term contract. Flannery, like the departing Ronn Moss (soon-to-be ex-Ridge Forrester), has been with the show since it debuted on March 23, 1987 - more than 25 years ago!

Soap Opera Network has learned that Susan Flannery (Stephanie Forrester, "The Bold and the Beautiful") has been added to the "Young and Restless Life of William J. Bell" book signing being held today from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Barnes & Noble located at 4820 Telephone Road Ventura, CA 93003.

Bell," with co-authors Lee Phillip Bell and Michael Maloney, along with Ronn Moss (Ridge Forrester, "The Bold and the Beautiful"), Doug Davidson (Paul Williams, "The Young and the Restless") and Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore, "The Young and the Restless"), who are all scheduled to attend, please take note of the following information courtesy of Barnes & Noble Ventura, which will be hosting the event.

On Saturday, August 18, Lee Phillip Bell (pictured right, with William J. Bell) and Michael Maloney (Soaps in Depth), co-authors of "The Young and Restless Life of William J. Bell" will be signing copies of their book at Barnes & Nobles Ventura from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM PT.

According to Entertainment Weekly's Tanner Stransky, CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" is about to lose 25 year veteran Ronn Moss (Ridge Forrester) after a contract dispute between the actor and the soap opera over salary hit a snag. A rep for Bell-Phillip Television, which produces "B&B," confirmed Moss' exit to Weekly.
