Jack Wagner (“The Bold and the Beautiful,” “General Hospital,” “Melrose Place“), who was tentatively scheduled to appear in the Wednesday, July 3 episode of TV Land’s “Hot In Cleveland,” will instead appear in the Wednesday, July 31 episode, a TV Land representative has confirmed to Soap Opera Network. The actor will reprise his role as Dr. Aaron Everett, who was last seen in Season 2, Episode 4 entitled “Sisterhood of the Travelling SPANX.” Specific storyline details for Wagner’s upcoming appearance were unavailable at press time.
Earlier today SOAPnet posted a new promo featuring intriguing moments and mystery on “Days of our Lives” (‘Everyone’s Dark Side Will Be Exposed in the Light of DAYS’) and now the network has published the “General Hospital” equivalent.
Titled “Tides and Tensions Rise,” viewers are asked to “soak up the drama” on “GH” weekdays on ABC. Weeknights at 7:00 PM ET/PT and 9:00 PM ET/PT on the cable network. The promo features sex, lies and murder, which just happens to be a regular occurrence on the soap.
Hot on the heels of the Supreme Court’s decision to rule that married same-sex couples are entitled to Federal benefits and that same-sex marriages are now legal in California, “The Young and the Restless’” Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher) sent out a tweet and photo to fans that officially confirms he’s gay.
In a posting last week on its Facebook page, shortly after word that the Supreme Court of the United States had found the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) unconstitutional, the NOH8 campaign displayed a photo compilation of “Days of our Lives” cast members posing in support of the charitable organization whose mission is “to promote marriage, gender and human equality through education, advocacy, social media, and visual protest.” The photo included actors Blake Berris, Eileen Davidson, Greg Vaughan, Kristian Alfonso, Bill Hayes, Lauren Koslow, Deidre Hall, Suzanne Rogers, Freddie Smith, Joseph Mascolo, Nathan Owens, Kate Mansi and Galen Gering, among others.
In addition to the SOAPnet promo highlighting “General Hospital” and “Days of our Lives” airtimes, the cable network has released a promo touting that “Everyone’s Dark Side Will Be Exposed in the Light of DAYS.”
“There’s now more times to watch your two favorite soaps on SOAPnet,” is part of the lyrics used in a new SOAPnet promo highlighting additional airings of both “General Hospital” and “Days of our Lives,” with the former taking over the 7:00 PM ET/PT timeslot previously occupied by “The Young and the Restless,” which, as numerously reported, officially makes its move to TVGN beginning today, July 1. “GH” will continue airing at 9:00 PM ET/PT with “DAYS” airing at 8:00 PM ET/PT and 10:00 PM ET/PT.
Bella Book Productions and Open Books Productions announced today that former “Days of our Lives” and “General Hospital” actress, Sarah Joy Brown, has joined the cast of the webs series “Beacon Hill,” which follows the political world in Boston, Massachusetts. Filming is set to begin later this fall in and around Boston.

They portray twins on NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” although Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) and Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady) are anything but that in Hallmark Channel’s “Second Chances.” Premiering Saturday, July 27, the TV movie tells the story of 911 operator Jenny McLean (Sweeney), who along with her two kids, Luke (Benjamin Stockham) and Elsie (Charlotte Labadie), take in firefighter Jeff Sinclair (Vaughan) after he is injured on the job and the family is in desperate need of extra income as a result of Jenny’s work hours having been recently cut. As Jeff and Jenny find themselves drawn together due to circumstances beyond their control, they begin to wonder where their mutual attraction will take them.
