If you find yourself tuning into CBS' "The Young and the Restless" later this month and think you're seeing things when Faith Newman appears on your screen as someone you may have seen not too long ago, don't be too surprised. Actress McKenna Grace is once again stepping into the role of Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nicholas Newman's (Joshua Morrow) little girl following news of current portrayer, Aly Lind, booking a role in a pilot for TNT. Grace actually took over the role of Faith from Lind when she appeared from July 2013 to June 2014, when Lind returned.
In another smart move of cross promotion, CBS is sending two “The Talk” hosts to its primetime lineup: Sharon Osbourne will be appearing on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” and Aisha Tyler will be appearing on “Two and a Half Men!”

As it gets ready to finish the traditional television season (September-May) as America's most-watched network in viewers for the 11th time in 12 years, CBS has renewed 21 shows and has picked up an additional 8 for next season. Five of the new shows will air in the fall with the remaining three headed for midseason.The new series joining the network in the fall includes "Madam Secretary," starring Téa Leoni as the newly appointed U.S. Secretary of State; "NCIS: New Orleans," a spinoff of "NCIS," starring Scott Bakula; "Scorpion," a high-octane drama starring Elyes Gabel, Robert Patrick and Katharine McPhee, inspired...

CBS has released a breakdown of how its top shows left off with their season finales in May and what viewers can expect when their new seasons premiere in the fall. "It may only be July, but it’s never too early to get caught up on where CBS series left off last May. And there’s no time like the present for a sneak peek at some surprises and guest stars coming in the fall," reads the network press release.
