Get ready to see some serious drama from “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Ashley Jones (ex-Bridget Forrester; ex-Megan Dennison, “The Young and the Restless”), who’ll be appearing in an upcoming episode of “Criminal Minds” that sounds like it might give her soap gigs a run for their money!
When thinking of daytime dramas like “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless,” extreme drama, intrigue, love and romance probably come to mind. But how about comedy? Is laughter an important component within daytime dramas?
CBS has released a breakdown of how its top shows left off with their season finales in May and what viewers can expect when their new seasons premiere in the fall. "It may only be July, but it’s never too early to get caught up on where CBS series left off last May. And there’s no time like the present for a sneak peek at some surprises and guest stars coming in the fall," reads the network press release.

A CBS spokesperson has confirmed reports of actor Sean Carrigan joining the cast of "The Young and the Restless" in the recurring role of Stitch, an old Army friend of Dylan McAvoy's (Steve Burton).

A CBS spokesperson has confirmed to Soap Opera Network that actress Jhoanna Flores has completed her run as Adriana Stone on "The Young and the Restless" with her last airdate being Tuesday, April 9. The actress joined the series on January 4 as the onscreen sister of Ignaccio Serricchio's Alejandro “Alex” Chavez. The news was first reported by Daytime Confidential.
As previously reported, the very popular #CBSTweetWeek is back for the forth time since its inception in 2011, and some of the networks biggest stars and creative talent are signing on to Twitter to chat live with fans. This marks the very first time stars from “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” are participating!

On Tuesday, March 26, CBS' "The Young and the Restless" will celebrate its 40th anniversary and in honor of the event, stars from the daytime drama series will be popping up on multiple CBS Daytime programs.As previously reported, Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman), Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman Abbott), Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman), Michael Muhney (Adam Newman), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) and Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) will appear on the Monday, March 25 celebratory edition of "The Talk."

Now, CBS is taking it all a step further with a new iPhone and iPad app that will make sure viewers never miss a moment — of daytime, primetime and beyond!
According to a tweet by Robert Adamson, who portrays Noah Newman on CBS' "The Young and the Restless," daytime newcomer Jhoanna Flores has joined the cast in an as yet to be determined role. "@ jhoannamarissa welcome to #YR.. I'll keep it under wraps for now who she's playing. But she's doing a great job!" read Adamson's tweet.

On Friday, November 23, which just happens to be the day after Thanksgiving, former "One Life to Live" star Nic Robuck takes on his dark side as the star of Lifetime Movie Network's world premiere movie "Dark Desire."
