Christina Bennett Lind

“All My Children’s” Christina Bennett Lind (ex-Bianca Montgomery) never realized how much she could fall in love with a character until she stepped into the shoes of Erica Kane’s benevolent daughter back in 2010. And though a lot has changed since those days — including the end of the sudser’s run on ABC, it’s move to an online network and the eventual return of Binks’ previous portrayer, Eden Riegel — Lind still has a special place in her heart for the beloved character. How do we know? Well, we caught up with the actress to get her take on the new “AMC,” what it’s been like for her to see Riegel return to the role and to dish about the new project she can’t wait for fans to find out about!
If you’re over the moon that Eden Riegel has reprised her role as “All My Children’s” Bianca Montgomery on TOLN’s version of the show, someone has you beat: The actress herself! “I’m so excited to be back playing Bianca again; it’s so surreal,” she exclaims. “I feel like I’m living in a dream.”
Deadline is reporting that Eden Riegel is returning to TOLN's "All My Children" to once again portray Bianca Montgomery for a cameo guest arc. Riegel last appeared on "AMC" in January 2010. The role was later played by actress Christina Bennett Lind, who is currently appearing in John W. Engeman Theater Production of "Wait Until Dark."
On Thursday, January 24, former "All My Children" star Christina Bennett Lind (ex-Bianca Montgomery) began appearing in the role of Susy Hendrix, a blind woman who finds herself opening doors to a psychopathic game of deceit and murder, in the John W. Engeman Theater Production of "Wait Until Dark."
Sometimes you can't be two places at once. Thankfully, there are people willing to lend a hand. Professional photographer and sometimes writer Thomas Montalto was on hand for the annual Absolute Eden Riegel fan event last month and helped Soap Opera Network cover the event with pictures (see below) and even an interview. Unfortunately, just after this interview took place we would learn that Riegel was being let go from her contract role as Heather Stevens on "The Young and the Restless" before the actress was even told! Twitter broke the story to the actress before she was told by her bosses. In light of the actress completing filming at the CBS soap on Thursday, September 29, Soap Opera Network presents to you one of Riegel's last interviews before she marks her grand exit from Genoa City in the coming weeks.
