With just one month left before the premiere of Lifetime’s “Devious Maids,” the cable network has released key art material highlighting Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty”), Dania Ramirez (“Entourage”), Roselyn Sanchez (“Without a Trace”), Edy Ganem (“Livin’ Loud”) and Judy Reyes(“Scrubs”) as five ambitious maids who, while working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills, dream of wealthy lives of their own. Sadly, murder is at the center of their world as one of their fellow maids is murdered and the quintet makes it their mission to find out who committed the heinous crime.

“Maids” also stars Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane, “All My Children”), Matt Cedeno (ex-Brandon Walker, “Days of our Lives”) and Brianna Brown (ex-Lisa Niles, “General Hospital”). Look for the series to premiere Sunday, June 23 at 10:00 PM ET on Lifetime.

Well wait no longer: The full cast, synopsis and premiere date for the Lifetime series has officially been released!

Premiering Sunday, June 23, on Lifetime, the drama series follows Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty”), Dania Ramirez (“Entourage”), Roselyn Sanchez (“Without a Trace”), Edy Ganem (“Livin’ Loud”) and Judy Reyes (“Scrubs”) as five ambitious maids who, while working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills (including Lucci as Genevieve Delatour), dream of wealthy lives of their own. This makes for one heck of an upstairs-downstairs scenario, which is complicated by murder and mayhem — just like on “Desperate Housewives,” and just like on daytime soaps!

Kamar de los Reyes left ABC’s “One Life to Live” in 2009 after portraying the uber popular role of Antonio Vega off and on for nearly 14 years. When he joined the soap in 1995, the character was introduced as a former gang member recently released from prison after serving time for killing a man. As the eldest son of Carlotta Vega, Antonio was able to prove the crime was in fact an act of self defense with help from Nora Buchanan. In “Call of Duty: Black Ops II,” which was released in November 2012, de los Reyes portrays Raul Menendez the terrorist behind a new world at war that is set in the year 2025. The game, also starring some of Hollywood’s biggest stars including Sam Worthington, Michelle Rodriguez and Michael Keaton with appearances by former soap stars Eden Riegel (“All My Children“) and Brianna Brown (“General Hospital“), grossed over $500 million on its first day of release. The team at Treyarch Invention made the game so real-life like that de los Reyes is now immortalized as a very recognizable video game character, despite the evil things the character induces.

Deadline is reporting that former “Days of our Lives” star Matt Cedeno (ex-Brandon Walker) has landed a recurring role on Lifetime’s “Devious Maids,” which stars Susan Lucci (“All My Children“), Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty“), Roselyn Sanchez (“Without a Trace“), Grant Show (“Melrose Place“) and Brianna Brown (“General Hospital“). Cedeno is said to be featured in the tweaked pilot, which was originally conceived as a possible series for ABC during last seasons development cycle, and will likely be upped to series regular if the show is picked up by Lifetime for a second season. Cedeno will play the role of Alejandro Reyes, “a successful recording artist. Back home after three long months on tour, Alejandro wants to lounge by the pool – while behind his back, Odessa and the new maid Carmen are maneuvering themselves for Total War.”
