No, that is not the description of "Girls," the HBO comedy series created by and starring Lena Dunham. It is actually the basis of "Hot Mess," a web series where seven actresses reenactment real-life situations that at times leaves viewers questioning how one could have ever let something like that happen , but ultimately glad it never happened to them.

Playboy may have found popularity by publishing risqué photos of women, but as the old excuse goes, some people actually read it “for the articles.” And those who picked up the March 2014 issue of the popular mag for reading purposes only were in for a lovely daytime related surprise: The publication stripped down popular primetime series made predominately for a male audience and declares they’re exactly like “The Bold and the Beautiful,” The Young and the Restless,” “General Hospital,” and “Days of our Lives” — with a manly twist.

HBO leads the Prime Emmy pack with 108 nominations, the most of any network this year. "Game of Thrones," which completed its third season earlier this year with record ratings, powers the network with 16 nominations. “Behind The Candelabra” received 15 nominations, “Phil Spector” received 11 nominations and “Boardwalk Empire” received 10 Nominations.

Maria Arena Bell, who was let go as Executive Producer and Head Writer of CBS' "The Young and the Restless" earlier this year, was honored on Wednesday, December 12 with a Humanitarian Award for her dedication to arts advocacy during the 14th Annual Women's Image Network (WIN) Awards, which recognizes and honors exemplary men and women in the entertainment industry including those from the television, film and advertising worlds.
