As previously reported, cast members from CBS' "The Young and the Restless" appeared on yesterday's edition of "Marie." In honor of the soaps 40th anniversary, the Marie Osmond hosted talker paid tribute to the memory of "Y&R" co-creator and head writer, William J. Bell, and highlighted the longest-running feud in daytime soap history - Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton).
Back in March of 2011, Carlos Pelz, a former hairstylist of CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful," filed a lawsuit against CBS Television, Bell-Phillip Television Productions and "B&B" senior supervisors Ron Weaver and Jody Lawrence-Miller, claiming defamation after learning of a March 2010 internal memo that cited him as "lazy, ambivalent, produced poor-quality work, was incompetent and was unfit to continue as 'key' hairstylist for the show," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Last week, Pelz lost his case after the overseeing judge dismissed his claims on summary judgment.
According to Entertainment Weekly's Tanner Stransky, CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" is about to lose 25 year veteran Ronn Moss (Ridge Forrester) after a contract dispute between the actor and the soap opera over salary hit a snag. A rep for Bell-Phillip Television, which produces "B&B," confirmed Moss' exit to Weekly.
