Scarlett Wactor, the mother of slain “General Hospital” star Johnny Wactor (Brando Corbin), is requesting that a court grant an order instructing Apple to provide her with access to the late actor’s devices, including his desktop, laptop and iPhone.

According to Us Weekly, during a hearing on Friday, June 20, Wactor is seeking access to the devices so that she can “determine if her late son’s computer and phone contain any financial information or financial assets.” The information is needed so that she can submit a final distribution report as part of her role as administrator of her son’s estate.

After initially submitting a request to Apple, Wactor says she was told by the tech giant they would not comply without a court order, one that directly states, “Apple is ordered by the court to assist in the recovery of [Johnny’s] personal data from their accounts, which may contain third-party, personally identifiable information or data.”

In response to a request for comment by the outlet, Wactor revealed that in addition to the financial data, she has been unable to close various accounts in her son’s name, which continue to incur charges. She believes that by the order being granted, she’ll be able to settle those accounts much quicker.

Noting her frustration with getting things settled with Apple, Wactor also would like to retain the memories of her son, either through any photos or videos the devices may contain.

“I don’t want to erase [them],” Wactor told Us Weekly, adding that she hoped “there is a bunch of good stuff on there.”

On Saturday, May 25, 37-year-old Johnny Wactor was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles after three suspects were allegedly seen trying to steal a catalytic converter from his car. After several months at large, three members of the Florencia 13 gang were arrested and later charged in connection with Johnny’s murder, while a fourth suspect was charged as an accessory after the fact to murder.

According to TMZ, Robert Barceleau and Sergio Estrada were charged with murder, while Leonel Gutierrez was charged with attempted robbery and grand theft while having a gun. Charges for Frank Olano included accessory and receiving stolen property, plus having a firearm while being a felon.

Thus far, Gutierrez pleaded guilty and was sentenced to four years in state prison, while Olano pleaded no contest. While his charges were reduced, he was later sentenced to five years and eight months. As for Barceleau and Estrada, they both pleaded not guilty and are awaiting trial.

Johnny Wactor’s final film appearance was the indie drama “Ciao, Mama,” which made its official premiere at the Dances With Films festival this week.

The movie centers on Tony Esposito (Micah Joe Parker) as he returns to his hometown in Long Island for the funeral of his beloved mother, as he faces what he left behind and wrestles with what it means to move forward with his life. In addition to acting in the film, Wactor was also a producer.
