(SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- Kassie DePaiva makes her fifth appearance as guest co-host of "The View."
"One Life to Live's" Kassie DePaiva will become the first in a series of guest co-hosts on "The View" this week as regular panelist Elizabeth Hasselbeck begins her maternity leave. On Wednesday, October 24, DePaiva will join Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sheri Shepherd on the popular daytime talk show.
With a due date of November 11, Hasselbeck leaves "The View" on Tuesday to begin her maternity leave. The 30-year-old Hasselbeck is married to quarterback Tim Hasselbeck, who recently signed with the Arizona Cardinals. The move forced Hasselbeck to leave "The View" earlier than anticipated; she had originally intended on working right up until the due date.
Hasselbeck recently told OK! Magazine that "I have to take early maternity leave so that I can get there and actually introduce the doctor to my parts, before she pulls a child out of me. But I'll be back, after the hiatus." This marks the second child for the Hasselbecks, who also have atwo-year-old daughther named Grace; they have decided not to find out the sex of the baby before it is born.

"OLTL" has released an audition script for the dayplayer role of "Hadley," who is a judge at a pie bake off. Also in the scene are "Norma" and "Joe," who appear to be cover names for Viki and Charlie. Apparently Hadley is upset with "Norma" for breaking the rules, which causes "Joe" to hit him with a pie. In reponse, Hadley throws a pie toward "Joe," however, it ends up hitting "Norma" instead. The scene ends with Hadley scurring off warning them not to enter the Dallas pie bake off.
Nelly Odessa plays a Capricorn patron on October 19th and 22nd. Odessa appeared earlier this year in two episodes of "OLTL" as a Rodi's patron. Also, look for another dayplayer on November 6th.
