(SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco is reporting that Gina Tognoni's last tape date as Dinah Marler on CBS' "Guiding Light" was Friday, June 26.

It is understood that despite the cancellation of "Light" in April, the actresses contract was set to expire in June 2009 and the two sides failed to meet an agreement where the actress would remain on the soap until the shows final airdate in September. A last airdate has not been set, however, the soap is currently filming a month ahead of airdate.

It was rumored that Gina was headed back to ABC's "One Life to Live" as Kelly Cramer, a role she protrayed from 1995-2001 and again for a brief stint in 2002. However, it has been reported that the two also failed to reach an agreement.

Tognoni won two Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series Daytime Emmy Awards (2006, 2008) for her portrayal of Dinah Marler on the soap. She joined the cast of "Guiding Light" in 2004.

"Guiding Light" airs Weekdays on CBS. Anytime on CBS.com. Check local listings.

Breaks my heart to see Gina Tognonu leave Guiding Light. She is such a powerhouse! I would like her to know that I think she is a WELL deserving Emmy winner, her performances have always been the highlight of so many episodes. Gina is such a beautiful, talented actress, and her fans are really going to miss her. I wish her the very best of luck in her future, and hope to be able to see her on tv again soon,(as long as it is not broadcast over the CBS network!! )God Bless You Gina...
