(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) are getting married in September and they’re in need of some Fatherly advice before the big day.
Anthony Michael Jones returns to “General Hospital” as Father Coates beginning with the Thursday, September 24 episode, confirms an ABC spokesman. Jones has portrayed the recurring role of Father Coates since 2002. Let’s hope the last wedding he oversaw doesn’t end with gun fire (we’re talking about you Sonny and Kate).
Prior to his work on “GH,” Jones appeared in such shows as “24,” “Three Sisters,” “Bull” and “Diagnosis Murder.” He is said to be attached to the 2010 film “A Marine Story,” which is currently in Port-Production.
Victor J. Ho will play a monk who passes through Maxie/Spinelli’s wedding rehearsal and sets Mac (John York) off on September 24. Ho appeared in the 2009 blockbuster “Terminator Salvation.”
In non-wedding news, Jeff Lewis plays a dentist, Dr. Kertz, who has some concerns about the Metro Court and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) appeases him. Lewis also airs on September 24.
“General Hospital” airs Weekdays on ABC. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Check local listings.
