THIS WEEK ON: DAYS OF OUR LIVES
- Monday, February 8: EJ can’t wait to disappear with Johnny and Sydney, and is delighted Sami’s break up with Rafe has caused her so much suffering.
- Tuesday, February 9: After an all night ice storm, Carly goes to the Kiriakis mansion to find Melanie, but slips and hits her head, knocking herself unconscious.
- Wednesday, February 10: Chloe learns that she is pregnant! She tries to tell Daniel, but is unsuccessful.
- Thursday, February 11: Daniel advises Nathan to talk to Melanie if he still has feelings for her.
- Friday, February 12: Carly has it out with Vivian over trying to kill Melanie and Vivian confesses all.
The Inside Story: Going to the Chapel
Stephanie interrupts Nathan before he can tell Melanie that he loves her. At the Brady Pub Melanie runs into Lucas who shares that Nathan is preoccupied with her. While alone with Nathan Stephanie convinces him that Melanie is in love with Philip and looking forward to her wedding day. Melanie tells Vivian that she can't marry Philip. Victor warns Kate that if she causes trouble she is not allowed to attend the wedding. Kate reveals to Carly that she overheard her conversation with Vivian. Carly confronts Vivian, who reveals enough for Carly to realize that Melanie's life is in danger. Carly races to find Melanie to warn her of the impending danger. Vivian spends the night trying to convince Melanie to marry Philip. Melanie admits to Vivian that she has feelings for another man. Vivian convinces Melanie to go through with the wedding. Philip overhears Melanie say that she wasn't going to marry him but she covers when he questions her. Melanie begins to prepare for the wedding and Vivian is about to place the tainted comb in her hair when they are interrupted by Arianna and Stephanie. Arianna gets Vivian to leave the room so that she and Stephanie can be alone with Melanie. Stephanie almost poisons herself. Vivian finally gives Melanie her wedding gift. Maggie informs Melanie that she won't be able to attend the ceremony. Melanie is upset by Maggie's cancellation and continues to be plagued by thoughts of Nathan. Lucas informs Philip of his suspicions about Melanie and Nathan. Philip tells Lucas that if he really wants to help keep an eye on Kate. Melanie writes a letter to Nathan and asks Stephanie to deliver it for her. Nathan convinces Maggie to attend the wedding for Melanie's sake. Stephanie reads the letter and keeps the letter from Nathan. Vivian, via laptop, reveals her plans for Melanie to Carly. Carly watches helpless as Vivian places the comb in Melanie's hair. Melanie begins to feel faint and believes that is is her nerves. Stephanie tells Melanie that Nathan refused to read her letter. Melanie passes out while everyone awaits her entrance. Just as Philip is about to check on Melanie she enters on Brady's arm. Chloe prevents Nathan from interrupting the wedding and telling Melanie that he loves her. Abe proceeds to marry the couple before family and friends on Friday, February 12.
A Closer Look: Family Planning
Brady and Daniel discuss Daniel's desire to have children. Arianna runs into Chloe, who is loaded down with pregnancy tests. Arianna urges Chloe to talk to Daniel about her suspicions when she doesn't think he'll be happy about the news. Daniel asks Lucas to allow Chloe to spend time with Allie. Thursday, February 11. Chloe happily tells Daniel that they are having a baby. Chloe shares her news with Arianna and asks that she keep quiet. Victor and Kate exchange words with Chloe and Philip comes to her rescue.
