IT HAPPENED TODAY (Encore Presentation of February 2, 2007 Episode)…

Luke, Lucky, Dillon, Monica, Tracy, Mike, Mac, Georgie and Edward are shocked to learn that their loved ones are in the middle of the hostage crisis.

Patrick experiences complications while operating on Alcazar. Skye is stunned when Jason tells her about the hostage crisis unfolding at the hotel. Patrick and Noah disagree about how to proceed with Alcazar’s surgery. Patrick heads to the hotel to help Robin. Jason convinces Patrick to continue operating on Alcazar as he needs to wake up and give them the access code to the briefcase. Jason knows they have to get the hostages evacuated before the vault reopens. Lucky and Rodriguez begin evacuating the guests attending the charity gala at the Metro Restaurant high atop the hotel.

Maxie and Three realize the briefcase could explode at any time. Three plans on using Maxie as a human shield to protect himself from the blast. After threatening to shoot more people, Mr. Craig allows Alan, Emily and Elizabeth to tend to Robin as her condition deteriorates. Sonny offers to arrange for Mr. Craig’s safe escape in exchange for releasing Robin. Sonny stops Sam and Carly from making a foolish and dangerous move. Sam is nearly shot when she tries to press the hotel panic button but Sonny talks Craig out of killing her. Mr. Craig wires the lobby with explosives.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

The courtroom is in shock following David’s entrance. On the stand, David explains his convoluted plot to the outraged courtroom - pointing out that he meant for Ryan to pay the price for his untimely demise. Krystal and Tad share the shocking news about David with Marissa. Marissa arrives in the cortroom where she rips into her father. Kendall later arrives and lashes out at Hayward. David is arrested. 

Greenlee tries to apologize to Kendall.

On the Next All My Children…

• Kendall opens a gift from Zach.
• Annie’s insecurity over JR’s relationship with Marissa continues to escalate.
• Madison slips and hits her head.

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “General Hospital” Episode Recap – Thursday, December 23, 2010.

IT HAPPENED TODAY (Encore Presentation of February 1, 2007 Episode)…

Luke and Lucky share a bittersweet reunion when they run into each other outside Laura’s room at Shadybrook. Scott contacts Bobbie, who tells him about Laura’s all too brief return and that she remembered how Rick Webber died. Luke realizes that Scott visited Laura. After reuniting with Luke, Lulu accuses Alan of killing Rick and framing Laura.

Everyone in the lobby at the Metro Court becomes Mr. Craig’s hostage as he and his mercenaries storm the hotel. Mr. Craig and his cohorts force everyone to hand over their valuables. Sonny wonders if Alcazar is involved. Mr. Craig orders his mercenaries “Three” and “Five” to search the vault and Maxie ends up being their hostage. Sam makes a daring move and pushes the panic button which results in Maxie being locked inside the vault with Three. Sonny urges Mr. Craig to cut his losses and flee after Carly informs him that the vault is now irreversibly locked. Mr. Craig forces everyone to play a “name game” and involves Robin to prove he means business.

Jason learns about the situation at the hotel and is soon joined by Lucky, Rodriguez and Mac. Jason orders Spinelli to hack into the hotel’s computer and learns about Alcazar’s briefcase in the vault. Patrick warns Alcazar that something could be seriously wrong with him. Skye insists on handling Alcazar’s transaction for him. Alcazar tells Skye that the briefcase in the vault has a timed detonator that requires that a six-digit code be punched in at regular intervals or the briefcase will explode. Alcazar suffers a seizure before he can give Skye the code.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

During the ceremony, Carly is frantically texting Spinelli for the dish he has discovered on Brenda and Dante. As Sonny is proposing marriage to Brenda, Carly discovers Brenda and Dante had a child together.

Luke’s kids make a passionate argument for why Luke and Tracy should stop sabotaging their wedding. But it is Brook Lynn who finally convinces Tracy – and the couple ultimate seal their marriage with a kiss.

Despite Mac’s objections, Patrick and Robin agree to set aside their differences for the holidays and share a loving family moment with Emma.

Sam and Jason celebrate the holidays with a Charlie Brown Christmas tree that Molly and Michael help them decorate.

Jason takes Michael to visit Edward in an attempt to honor family.

Maxie faces a lonely holiday in the office. Matt arrives, and she tries to break up with him – but he will have none of it.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Greenlee is worried that Madison’s pregnancy will change things between her and Ryan just as things between them are good again. As Greenlee contemplates telling Ryan the truth, he suggests they spend some time alone.

Trying to distract herself from losing Zach, Kendall tries to gain some independence. She tells Bianca and Ryan that she doesn’t need them checking up on her and deflects when they offer to help her decorate for Christmas. Griffin becomes upset with Kendall after she interrupts a meeting he was conducting with Dennis, an investor for the Miranda Center. He insists Kendall get a better grip on things before pressing forward with business. Bianca shows Kendall a box that she found in Zach’s closet and Kendall finds Christmas presents Zach purchased and feels him all around her.

Jake and Cara make an effort to try and co-exist at the hospital. While working a shift together, Cara says she understands when Jake confronts her with his concern regarding her lunch date with his wife.

Despite Jason’s objections, Brenda attends Luke and Tracy’s wedding with Sonny. Carly, meanwhile, pushes Spinelli to dig into reasons why Dante retained a family lawyer.

With Lucky, Lulu, Ethan, Edward and Alexis’ help, Luke and Tracy manage to make it all the way to the altar – where they hit a slight snag despite Luke’s profession of love.

Planning to celebrate Christmas with Emma, Robin and Patrick grow closer. But Lisa sets new plans in motion to separate the couple.

Finally free of Brenda for a moment, Jason uses the time to reconnect with Sam.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Madison is still undecided about her pregnancy and gets upset when Ryan sets up a doctor’s appointment. She wants him to stop trying to help and says it’s a big part of why she wants to leave town. Both Frankie and Randi are overprotective of Madison. Randi suggests Greenlee could help Madison out by leaving her alone and stop trying to set her up with anyone, while Frankie continues to keep the truth from Ryan and cancels the doctor appointment he set up. Greenlee tells Madison she knows she’s pregnant.

Annie is insecure about her relationship with JR, especially since he didn’t say he loves her after she admitted how she felt. JR is feeling the stress of losing Cortlandt Electronics and the potential crumbling of Chandler Enterprises. Marissa is there to motivate JR and reminds him that he is a good father and encourages him to return the phone call he received earlier from his father. After Marissa leaves, Annie reassures JR that she is there for him and while they’re embracing JR can’t help but stare at the gift Marissa left behind for him.

Struggling to cope with the loss of her husband, Kendall is extremely sensitive. First, she learns that Erica is being charged with manslaughter and then continues to give Greenlee the cold shoulder and kicks Ryan out of the house.

Sonny defends his relationship with Brenda to Carly and Alexis. Brenda convinces Jax not to jeopardize his life to protect hers. Dante tells Brenda not to tell Sonny about the baby secret. Lulu talks herself out of suspecting Dante and Brenda. Maxie warns Dante not to hurt her friend. Dante prepares a romantic (and silly) meal for Lulu. Spinelli gives Carly a new lead that could devastate Dante and Brenda.

Everyone is worried Luke is going to disappear before the wedding. Luke arrives at the Quartermaines to everyone’s relief, but all continue to fear he will ditch the big day tomorrow.

Ethan and Maya discuss their living arrangements as husband and wife.

Nikolas and Brook Lynn share their views on love.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Frankie reminds Madison that she can’t run away from making a decision regarding whether or not she wants to keep the baby since time is running out. After getting her hands on Griffin’s wallet, Greenlee gets into the hospital computer and discovers Madison is pregnant.

Seeing the way JR and Marissa are interacting, leaves Annie on edge. After getting a text from JR, Annie meets him at the hotel. He reassures her that his rapport with Marissa is just an act. Annie catches him off guard when she blurts out that she loves him.

Erica and Caleb share a close moment after she gives him the good news that he has reacquired Cortlandt Electronics.
