Monday's (February 15th) episode of "One Life to Live" opened with Llanview's songstress Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva) singing what many fans consider the most popular of the soap's seven different opening sequences from its more than four decade history. The song, originally performed by Paebo Bryson, was used as as part of "One Life's" 'Tour of Llanview' opening and closing themes from 1986-92, following an appearance by the musician on the show (in which he performed the theme during a fashion show). But was it just an attempt by the writing staff to give long-time viewers a moment to re-visit the past, or was it a subtle clue that an overhaul of "One Life to Live's" present opening sequence may be in the works? Duplaix Shows Her ‘McNugget Love’

Daytime Confidential is reporting that a a source close to the actress, who portrays Rachel Gannon, claims that she has been fired from "One Life to Live."  As for her onscreen love interest Terrell Tilford, the site speculates that he may remain with the snow, with his character Dr. Greg Evans becoming Llanview Hospital's resident medical specialist for all aliments.    Duplaix joined the "One Life" cast on April 7th, 2009, becoming the fourth actress to take on the role of Rachel, the only daughter of Nora Hanen and Hank Gannon.  Prior to joining "OLTL," she portrayed Valerie Davis on "Passions" from 2004-08, and was the Playboy Playmate of the Month for July 1997.  She has also appeared in other of television shows and minor films. My View of Llanview: February 15 Edition

We have be only halfway through the month, however, it is already evident that sweeps period is a bust for the poor folks in Llanview. With the show slipping into last place in the ratings, if the next few weeks are anything last the last two, expect them to remain in the soap cellar. ‘OLTL’ Early March Casting Highlights

Although her character isn't even dead yet (at least not until February 16th), Crystal Hunt makes an otherworldly return to "One Life to Live" in the coming weeks. On Wednesday, March 3rd, the deceased pole dancer comes to her sister Gigi in a vision to ask her to be a surrogate mother to little Sierra Rose.  According to Soap Opera Digest, Roscoe Born has already taped his final scenes as Mitch Laurence.  The actor tells SOD that "I finally got to have some scenes with 'Roxy' and they went really well.
