A New Lease on 'Life': The Stars Sound Off

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — While it is too early to figure out exactly which “One Life to Live” cast members will decide to stay with the show when it moves production to the web after airing its final episode on ABC Daytime on January 20, 2012, last week’s shocking announcement has sent many of the show’s stars to various social networking sites to comment on “One Life’s” last minute reprieve. Soap Opera Network has collected their tweets, Facebook musings, and website statements on the subject for your reading pleasure…

Erika Slezak (Viki): “I am very, very pleased that the show might continue, but unfortunately no details are available yet.”

Kristen Alderson (Starr): “Super happy for the fans of #amc & #oltl today. =) I’m interested to see how they plan on having this work.”

Barret Helms (Baz): “Did everybody hear the news about the show??”

Austin Peck (Rick): “It’s exciting about the shows. Dont know what it means as of late but we”ll see.”

Lenny Platt (Nate): “OLTL lives on…in cyberspace. The times, they are a changin’…”

Hillary B. Smith (Nora): “Hang in there AMC & OLTL fans. Don’t give up your quality control. This could all go away tomorrow. It is about the work, telling the story and the people who watch. As long as the fans can watch, who cares where it airs.”

Jerry verDorn (Clint): “Hello all. Good news,eh? Llanview Lives. Stay tuned. Told you. Love, jvd. Thank you for getting it done. And it was Fan Response who got this accomplished. You overcame corporate indifference and oltl will live on for many years. Until this moment, nothing like this has ever been done. Love, jerry/clint.”

Kassie DePaiva (Blair): “Wow!!! What a u turn? Don’t know what it all means yet. Very happy for our fans!!! VERY!!! You deserve to have these shows continue after your years of support!”

Catherine Hickland (ex-Lindsay): “I want to be excited about this news for viewers but need to know more about everything. hated seeing you know who’s quotes in article. STFU. If ANYONE made something happen with shows moving forward, it’s the FANS! #get it?? And know that it is Agnes Nixon who fought alongside of you all tirelessly, never letting go of her “children” for even a second!”

Bree Williamson (Jessica): “Spinoff idea! “Me and my alters”. Jess, Tess, Bess and Wes in a one bedroom! Wes pretends he’s gay to not upset Mr Furley.”

Robin Strasser (Dorian): “JUST found out about licensing deals #AMC/#OLTL! Big SHIFT is a GIFT. Just know ALL THE FANS GOT THIS TO HAPPEN! Take a bow! YOU did it! WOW. Listen to Mama: even IF this is a BONE being tossed, it’s better than the ‘toss ‘em out with the garbage’ diss/tone of the big cancellation. Normally a wary Cassandra, I’m going Pollyanna for Persian (a 1st)) Share meal-DISH developments. Chew/Revolution hard 2 sell without FANS! In PP time, we could watch OLTL ANY time on laptops? Even during a Persian meal? What do Persians eat? but watchin’ OLTL would be a FEAST:) Post Persian hangover- too much delish much of muchness. Doing mail/filing/TCM. Multi-tasking/basking in TIME to do what needs to be done. Up DO-ing since 6am. Pondering my POV: IF licensing deal creates NEW jobs +maintains OLD ones: WIN/WIN-if only a showy stop gap, that’s sad! MBFO(My Big Fat Opinion) it’s NOT all about me?:) IF AMC-OLTL go web? Internet not AFTRA or SAG?? GO SAG! AFTRA didn’t protest cancellation! E mailed AFTRA President asking they take a STAND! “I don’t know what we can do” but she blasted protest America’s Most Wanted cancellation.”

And from “OLTL” Head Writer Ron Carlivati on his Facebook page: “Never a dull moment… More details emerging…”

Nick learns of Sharon's being alive when he gets a phone call from the detective working the case, while Phyllis gets the news from one of her many sources. When Adam learns of the news, he is happy not only that she is alive and well, but that he now has the proof to help clear her name. As Sharon is back in Genoa City, Nick asks Noah to go with in to the jail but Noah doesn't want to see Sharon. Meanwhile, wanting to get the scoop for Restless Style, Phyllis attempts to harass D.A. Walsh until he tells her what she wants to know. Unfortunately for her, he has her escorted out. As she is leaving, sehe gets her first look at Sharon. Walsh attempts to grill Sharon about Adam's involvement in her escape but she refuses to rat him out. When Nick shows up, the joy on his face shows loud and clear. As they are talking however, Sharon turns his joy into outright anger when she reveals that after she heard that she was pronounced dead, she decided to stay that way. Things, however, are different for Adam, who arrives and supports Sharon's choice to stay away. Nick leaves in a huff, not seeing Sam, who has arrived. When Sam tells Sharon he can't let her go from his life, Adam's joy turns to jealousy, especially seeing the sexual chemistry between the two of them. Feeling like a fool, Adam tosses the only proof in clearing Sharon's name into the river. Back at the jail, Sharon and Sam begin to talk but Victor's arrival puts the conversation on pause. Sharon is surprised when Sam tells her that he knows about Victor Newman. Victor, wanting to be involved, begins to question Sam but tones it down when he realizes that Sam truly cares about her. Later, Sharon calls Adam to explain about Sam. He listens as she tells him that it was Sam who helped her to move on with her life and start over again. Finally wanting to see his mother, Noah goes to the jail and they have a beautiful reunion together. Mother and son reconcile with one another. When Noah leaves, Sam comes back to see Sharon. She wants him to go back to New Mexico before she drags him down in all of her mess, but Sam refuses to leave her side, more than willing to support her. In the meantime, Victor plots to put an end to Adam's obession with Sharon and convinces Sam not to leave Sharon when she needs him the most: he's good for her. As for Adam, he visits Sharon and is crushed to learn that she saw him that day at the fair. When she questions the evidence that Noah and he were working on, a pissed Adam tells Sharon that they never found any evidence to help clear her name. The lies soon get back to Noah and he's angry that Adm would lie to his mother.

A Closer Look: Billy's Uphill Battle
A concerned Victoria convinces Billy to fight for Delia and helps him get ready for his custody case. When they arrive, Victoria assures her estranged husband that things will be alright and heads out. Things seem to take on a mild turn when Rafe plays fair and doesn't go for an attack against Chloe; however, when it's Billy's turn to take the stand, Chloe's lawyer isn't so kind and rips into him. Thinking that they lost, Billy is surprised when Victoria comes to testify that Billy is nothing but a wonderful father to Delia. After hearing her testimony, the judge heads into chambers to make their decision. Meanwhile, as everyone awaits the verdict, Victor, wanting to get even with Billy, sets a chain reaction of disaster, when he hires a hooker to lure Billy. Victoria, not realizing that Victor had a hand in stirring up trouble for Billy, becomes disgusted at the behavior that Billy has been displaying.

      Y&R Recap: Friday, July 8, 2011

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — "The Young and the Restless" Episode Recap – Friday, July 8, 2011.

Phyllis was working at Restless Style when Jack showed up. He was curious to know what she was doing back at the magazine and she told him that Nick hired him back. Jack congratulated her and she did the same for him in getting his CEO position with Jabot. Jack rubbed her the wrong way however, when he made a comment on how Nick and she would wind up back together. Phyllis said that was never going to happen.

The visits kept on coming when Noah arrived at the magazine. He wanted to introduce Phyllis to his friend, Hunter and was curious if there were internships available. He shared doing the scattering of Sharon's ashes. They briefly talked when Hunter came in. The girl was instantly impressed with Phyllis and Phyllis said she would talk to Nick about a possible internship.

Ashley, doing a favor for Nick, watched Faith while he went to go retrieve her baby blanket. When he got to the bridge, he saw Adam there, and the two once again got into it over Sharon. Nick said that if Sharon had been alive still, she would have eventually dumped him; Adam on the other hand said Nick was just jealous because she chose him over Nick. Adam said that Nick was ruining her memory while he was trying to help salvage her reputation. Disgusted, Nick walked off. Meanwhile, Jack, arriving at Crimson Lights, voiced concern over Ashley's renewed focus of baby Faith.

At the dance, several people commented on how familiar Sharon looked to them. She told each person that she just had a familiar kind of face. Sharon began to worry however, when Brenda, the waitress who had served her when she arrived in New Mexico pointed out the carjacker as the one who took her car. Sharon's eyes locked with the carjacker's and Sam picked up on it. he urged her to tell him what was going on, but Sharon continued to brush it off. Doing so, Sam asked Sharon to dance with him.

Nick headed back to the office and was determined to get their story out about Adam. While he and Phyllis were talking about what to add, the two began flirting with one another. When things started to get close between the two of them, Phyllis and Nick both agreed that it was the wrong thing to do.

Jack learned from Ashley that Tucker wanted her to run the company; including Jabot. Jack beame upset and told her that he wasn't letting her or anyone near Jabot again; he worked to hard to get it back.

At his suite, Adam and Emmet were going through the memory card when the got a clear audio of Sharon and Skye talking. The audio proved that Sharon wasn't trying to kill Skye. Adam thanked Emmet and gave him the bonus he promised him. He sat down and looked at a picture of Sharon, saying he wished he found the proof for her before time had ran out. Back at the dance, as Sharon and Sam danced, the carjacker pointed out to both Lee and Marco that Sharon was the woman he carjacked. During the musical montage, Jack, Noah and Adam all thought on Sharon, while Nick and Phyllis decided to think about heating things up with one another. Once the band ended their song, Marco and Lee both approached Sam and Sharon. They told Sharon that she was arrested. Sam looked on stunned, while Sharon looked on in fear.

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — "The Young and the Restless" Episode Recap – Thursday, July 7, 2011.

Genevieve took the opportunity to harass Colin, who was dining at Gloworm. Colin asked why she wanted to stay in Genoa City and she said that she had family there, and hoped to become close again with Cane. Colin laughed and said she was merely there to continue bothering him. Meanwhile, at Fenmore's Cane shows up to see Jill. Jill unleashes her anger at him for the lies he told and the danger he put everyone in. When Cane tried to place the blame on Colin's shoulders, Jill corrected him and said that he was more of a threat than Colin ever was. She demanded he leave Genoa City and never return.

Katherine and Ashley ran into one another at Crimson Lights. Katherine took a seat across from her and wanted to patch things up between the two of them. Ashley, was, however, a bit skeptical. Katherine said that she was merely trying to do her best to protect her son but Ashley said she went overboard in her efforts. Shortly after, Nick arrived with Faith and Ashley lit up. The two talked and Ashley offered to spend more time with the young girl. When Nick mentioned how Faith didn't have a mother figure in her life, Ashley suggested that she help him out by having an ocassional girl time with her. Nich agreed and accepted her offer.

After a jog with one another in the park, Daniel and Lily chatted about Maddie and Charlie. She mentioned that she was spending a lot more time with them since she was away from them. Daniel made mention that it was time for Lily to move on with her life, leaving Cane behind, and wondered if she was ready to file for divorce. Lily said that she wasn't ready to think on it at the moment. While Daniel was understanding of her feelings, he did let her know that it was time for Cane to be history. While together, the two of them started to think on their marriage with one another. Both were glad that despite their obstacles, they were still close friends.

Noah headed to see Adam at his suite. He told him he came short of finding any proof to clear Sharon's name in Skye's murder. Adam became appreciative that he wanted to help clear his mother's name. Noah mentioned that he was leaving to go meet Nick and Doris to scatter Sharon's ashes. Adam suddenly became nice to Noah, telling the young man that he knew he had to head out and didn't want to intrude on his family moment. Noah soon met up with Doris and Nick. They shared how Sharon loved being at the coffeehouse. Nick remembered the day he proposed to her there, while Doris recalled Nick once being the owner of the coffee shop. They all got up to head out to scatter the ashes. From a distance, Adam watched them depart.

Katherine came face-to-face with Colin when he walked into Crimson Lights. She demanded that he leave and stay away from Jill. He told Katherine that he wasn't giving up on Jill; he knew there were still feelings she had for him. When she said that his money and influence got him out of trouble, he shot back that perhaps she did the same thing at times when she was in a bind. When Jill showed up, she told Katherine to leave so that she could talk to Colin alone. There, he pored it on thick of how he never stopped loving her and how he would eventually win her back. After a bit, a frustrated and confused Jill told Colin to get the hell out of her life. He promised he wasn't giving up on her.

After another round with his mother, Cane headed to Jimmy's bar where he askedo n a job. After telling the bartender he had experience, he was put to work. While he was in the back room, he missed seeing Lily and Daniel walking in to have a drink. The two exchanged flirty banter with one another. Daniel suddenly wondered if he was falling back in love with Lily and he tested those feelings out when he pulled her into a kiss. Lily and Daniel were still kissing one another when Cane walked out of the back room.

At the bridge, Nick, Noah and Doris scattered Sharon's ashes. They each shared their love and stories about Sharon. From a great distance, Adam watched and listened to Nick's words of his love for Sharon, watching as he scattered the ashes. He soon was overcome by tears. Meawhile back in New Mexico, Sam told Sharon about a dance that would be going on that night; unfortunately Sharon again declined going out with him. After a little prodding on Piper's part, Sharon relented and walked her to the dance. Sam was pleasantly surprised to see her in the dress he bought for her.

Katherine once again ran into Ashley, this time at Fenmore's. She marveled in how good Jack was doing back in the CEO position of Jabot. After Ashley had left, Genevieve arrived and tried to introduce herself to a displeased Katherine. When Genevieve offered to show Katherine her estate, she turned her nose up at her and told her she had no interest what-so-ever in getting to know her. Katherine was convinced that she was nothing more than a troublemaker just like her husband, Colin.

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — "The Young and the Restless" Episode Recap – Wednesday, July 6, 2011.

Sam continued to make slow moves when it came to Sharon. When he asked her to come with him to check on a dog, she said she didn't want to. As she continued to pack, Sam asked Sharon to move into his house with him. Sharon was floored by his request and he explained that he he would give her as much time as she needed; he didn't want to do the same thing he did when his wife walked out on him. Sharon's guard went down and she accepted his offer to move in. Soon after, Sharon and Sam, in his bed room, once again had sex with one another.

Michael and Kevin caught up with one another at Gloworm where they did a little chit-chat. Kevin commented on how things were going between he and Chloe but also listened as Michael shared his concerns for Lauren since Daisy returned back to Genoa City. Kevin didn't hide the fact that he wanted his sister gone for a long time while in prison. Just then, Michael received a message from Lauren, telling him to head to Crimson Lights where a surprise was waiting for him.

Eden felt uneasy about being in out on the patio area with both Noah and Abby. Abby continued to press as to why she decided to come back to Genoa City, but Noah shooed her away so he and Eden could be alone. The two uncomfortably talked to one another and Eden tried to apologize for how things turned out for the two of them, but Noah said that he was much to blame, as well. Meanwhile, Michael and Kevin, curious to know what Lauren's surprise was, nearly walked passed Eden until she caught their attention. Noah left them alone, where Michael questioned her wherabouts. Eden shared that she got into a little trouble but was doing alright. Both Kevin and Michael were shocked to learn from her that she went into rehab for an eating disorder. Eden assured her brothers that she was fine.

Adam was on the phone striking up a business deal. After his call was complete, he put his attentions back on to the memory cards, calling Emmet to see how things were going along. Adam offered to pay him more money if he could get the footage by the end of the day. Checking his messages on the computer, Adam proceeded to head out of the door when Diane startled him. Not wanting to talk to her, Adam told her he had things to take care of. Once he was gone, Diane snuck into his room, looking over his documents. Spotting an email about the ambulance that she was in, she started to read, only to learn that Adam's contact was a paparazzi photographer named Gingerman. Having what she wanted, she headed out of Adam's room.

Daniel and Devon chatted with one another at Crimson Lights, both commenting on how they wanted Cane as far away from Lily for good. While the three of them were there, both Daniel and Devon saw Cane walk in. Daniel quickly kept Lily away while Devon got in Cane's face, orering him to stay away from Lily. As for Daniel, he gave Lily a CD of new songs, but Lily, sensing that something was going on, wanted to know where Devon went off to. Daniel came clean and although touched by what they were trying to do, Lily said it was time she confronted Cane on her own.

At the park, Devon and Cane got into it over Lily. Devon wanted Cane to stay out of Lily's life for good; in fact he wanted Cane to just leave. While Devon was talking to Cane, Lily showed up and told Devon that she wanted to talk to Cane alone. A hesitant Devon left them alone. Lily told Cane she could no longer believe anything her said: he had knowingly put her and their family in danger by not sharing the truth about Colin. Cane insisted that he could be there for her, but she told him that she wanted nothing more to do with him. She wanted him out of her life and the life of the twins.

At Restless Style, Phyllis, who was working on her next story about Adam, tried her best to convince Nick to give her the go-ahead to throw Sharon's name in the story. Nick refused to do it, saying that he wanted Sharon out of it. Phyllis however, turned things to make it sound as if Nick would be giving Sharon and his family justice for all that Adam has done to her. Nick slowly buys into her 'thoughts'.

Michael ran into Diane at Gloworm. She was still miffed at him and told him that she didn't need the help from either him or Victor, she could stand on her own two feet. After he left, Diane spotted Abby and called the Gingerman to lure him there in hopes of 'catching the Naked Heiress in action'. Deacon, who was behind the bar, overheard the conversation and became interested. Meanwhile at a table alone, Daniel and Abby caught up with one another. He wanted to know how she was doing, while she asked the same about him. Warming up to their conversation, Abby asked Daniel if they could try again with one another. Unfortunately, thanks to Diane, the paparazzi comes in to start taking pictures of Abby, giving Daniel the assumption that she set it up. Realizing that she didn't, he ushers the photogs away. As they are leaving, a slick Diane catches the Gingerman and starts making her deal with him.

Stopping into Restless Style, Adam lectured Nick for hiring Phyllis again. He continued to throw his weight around by telling Nick he wanted him to write an article on Sharon in another effort to fully clear her name. Nick said only if real evidence was present. Adam commented that he was close to getting it; but purposely ruffled Nick's feathers when he commented on how Noah was helping him too. When Nick didn't budge, Adam attacked him with words, saying that he'd expected Nick to be a better person by trying to help Sharon. Nick, however, shot him cold by telling Adam that Sharon wouldn't be dead if it weren't for the likes of him.

Diane offered to pay Gingerman a hefty sum of money if he'd produce the evidence that Adam was involved regarding the photograph of the ambulance that she was in. Gingerman declined wanting to work with her, but the more she talked, the more she swayed him. After offering him an exclusive photo opt, Gingerman and Diane sealed their deal. Once he was gone, Deacon stepped up to Diane, telling her he'd be willing to help her out; for a price just llike Gingerman.

Abby was crushed when Daniel told her that he didn't want to get back together again. When he left, he called Lily to see if she was gone with her talk with Cane.

            Thomas A. Montalto/Montalto Photos

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — As we reported yesterday, we likely have to thank our federal government for providing the funding necessary for Prospect Park to pick up “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” which were both canceled by ABC on Thursday, April 14. The announcement that ABC would be licensing the two iconic soaps to Prospect Park was made on Thursday, July 7, but according to sources the financial deal actually came together back in May, just in time for what is said to be the deadline period for the government to hand out grant money to companies looking to invest in New Media. We thought it was crazy too, but we checked and it is definitely true. What we know about this deal is that upon their completion on ABC, “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” will be migrated to an as-yet-to-be-named Hulu-esque internet video service that would allow both daily soap operas to continue their storytelling for millions of online users and “be delivered with the same quality and in the same format and length,” as fans have come to expect for more than forty years, according to the joint press release issued from Disney/ABC and Prospect Park. Translation: One hour per day, five days a week, 52 weeks a year will remain within the realm of reality. What wasn’t clear at the time was after both soaps complete their runs on ABC, they will also conclude on SOAPnet.

Insiders tell Soap Opera Network that even with the multi-year, multi-platform licensing deal with Prospect Park, the deal does not call for Disney/ABC to air either programs on their owned and operated networks, which includes SOAPnet, despite the channel now expected to remain on cable/satellite systems longer than originally thought due to some minor issues the Walt Disney Company had been having with the launch of its Disney Junior cable network. Additionally, when an ABC representative confirmed to Soaps in Depth back in late April that SOAPnet would “absolutely have programming” after “AMC” and “OLTL” ended their runs, they neglected to name which programming would be in place. Soap Opera Network has confirmed with the same representative that the programming in question will not include “All My Children” or “One Life to Live.” In fact, after yesterday’s announcement was released, the Disney/ABC Television Group made it clear that they are no longer in charge of the day-to-day operations of either of your favorite daytime soaps once their runs are completed on ABC and SOAPnet. If you want to know what’s going to happen next on “All My Children” after it ends on Friday, September 23, don’t call, write or email Brian Frons, President, Daytime, Disney/ABC Television Group. He is not in charge of that show and he will not be in charge of “One Life to Live” either after the series airs its final broadcast on Friday, January 20, 2012. Prospect Park, which at this time has no plans to release any further details surrounding the new venture beyond what was already reported, according to a representative, is in the early stages of what will surely be a drawn out discussion with the people that help make your favorite soaps as well as the unions these individuals belong to as neither union, the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) or the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), was prepared for this new business model when they last negotiated their contracts with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), which comprises The Walt Disney Company, among others. AFTRA is the primary union representing on-air talent for daytime soaps.

Now that “One Life” is continuing with a second one under Prospect Park, fans around the world are wondering how does this affect the storylines, how does this affect the cast, the crews, the writers and even the producers? Digging a little further, with last month’s announcement that Ron Carlivati, who currently serves as “One Life to Live’s” head writer, would be transitioning to “General Hospital” as a script writer later this year when the show completes its run on ABC, it really begs the question of what happens next? Not only for that soap, but for “All My Children” as well. “It’s too early to know,” said a ABC insider requesting anonymity. “The details are too fresh on everyone’s minds for it to be determined who will be running these shows, or particularly writing them, after they finish their ABC runs.” The same also holds true for who will be appearing on your favorite soaps as they transition to your computer screens as well, the insider informed us. In fact, according to “All My Children” star JR Martinez (Brot Monroe) in a twitter posting, “I will say this-my current contract was to terminate on August 31st. Now we must see who they want to keep & renegotiate with. Not sure…” It appears as though the termination Martinez is referring to holds true for all current contract cast members at “AMC,” leaving Prospect Park to renegotiate with the cast and even the crews in order to properly transition the series to the web in the “same quality” fans have come to expect. But back to Carlivati. He along with “One Life” Executive Producer Frank Valentini signed new deals with ABC back in September of 2010. The terms of the agreements were not disclosed, but it was understood to last two years for Valentini and three years for Carlivati, so does that mean the two will remain with “One Life” under the guidance of Prospect Park? Or has ABC opted to keep the dynamic duo under its charge leaving new blood to step in and head write and produce the show with the “same quality and in the same format and length” as before? As our insider said before “It’s too early to know.” There is no word on what this development means for “All My Children” Executive Producer Julie Hanan Carruthers or Head Writer Lorraine Broderick.

However, one of the big questions left unanswered are where will the shows be produced? “All My Children” moved its production to the Andrita studios in Los Angeles, CA back in January of 2010 in a multi-year licensing deal. Will the show remain in that studio? It looks like it will as the cost factor would be too great for Prospect to move the series once more. However, things look a little less certain for “One Life to Live,” which took over “AMC’s” New York studio space housed in the ABC Television Center. With ABC no longer producing the series it is likely the series will be moved to another facility or moved to the West Coast right along with “AMC” in order for Prospect Park to better manage the daily operations of the drama series.

OLTL Recap: Friday, July 8, 2011

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — “One Life to Live” Episode Recap – Friday, July 8, 2011.

              IT HAPPENED TODAY…

The man with Todd’s original face skulks around Llanfair, nearly making contact with Viki. At EOD Viki is on the verge of catching him.

John questions Vimal about the statement he pulled back from making last night, but Vimal again bites his tongue. Vimal is let go – for now – but with a tail, thanks to John. As a result, John learns that Vimal has gone to work for Todd.

Meanwhile, Brody continues to fret about his knowledge that Liam is not his son – and Marty’s taped confession that could out it all. Later, John enlists Brody in a new project: Bringing down Todd, once and for all. Brody signs on. John needs to iron out a few details, chief among them a piece of missing evidence from the investigation into Gigi’s death signed out by Brody: The tape recorder.

Jack starts work at the Sun but is distracted by Gigi-related news. Todd tries to keep Jack focused but is taken aback to learn a business plan was undone by the intervention of another company, Origami Cogs. Vimal arrives before Todd can delve deeper into this mystery. Vimal tells Todd about his run-in with John. After sending Jack away Todd demands details from Vimal. Jack returns as Todd and Vimal are discussing a secret Todd is keeping from John. Jack asks Todd about this secret.

Blair confronts Téa about her role in Jack’s “exoneration.” Téa and Blair blame themselves for Jack’s behavior, but Todd, too. Together they decide to pay Rex and Shane their respects, but are chilled by the welcome they get. Rex and Shane prepare to receive friends and family at their new home, Asa’s mansion, where they’ll remember Gigi. Roxy is stunned and dismayed to learn of the deal that gave Gigi’s heart to Clint, and Clint’s fortune to Rex. Roxy is further appalled that Rex has fired Nigel. Echo also takes note of the ruthless shift in Rex but ultimately gives him a pass. Rex intends to make Todd and Jack pay by doing to them what they did to him and Rex: By depriving them of their wife and mother, Téa and Blair.

Dorian and David continue to spar over his alleged infidelity with Ionia. Dorian refuses to accompany David while he gives his condolences to Rex and Shane. Left alone, Dorian signs for a package addressed to David, assumed to be from Ionia. At the mansion, David, Viki, Jessica and Natalie visit Rex and Shane.

Natalie invites Jessica to talk about Brody later at Llanfair.

Echo listens in and revels as David relates to Viki the turn for the worse his marriage has taken. David seeks an ally in Viki, but she is on the outs with Dorian. David returns home only to be confronted by Dorian, wielding the contents of the package: A gun.

At Llanfair, Natalie tells Jessica that she and Brody have gotten together.
