(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — They may not be headed for Peapack, New Jersey, but "One Life to Live" is currently filming scenes for an upcoming storyline at an unknown location. But just were are they going? London? Paris? The Bahamas? Not quite, considering the show's budget and the fact that their last location shoot took place on the roof of their own New York City studios. While it isn't clear exactly which and how many of the show's cast members will be participating in the location shoot, or even where it will be taking place, we do know that at least one actress, Nafessa Williams (Deanna), will be involved in the drama. On Thursday, the actress tweeted that she had "Just got to Llanview. In hair and makeup then off to shoot on location," and said later that she was "Headed to the remote." The day before she wrote that she had...

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- Despite ABC Daytime's best attempts to mismanage the situation, SOAPnet will continue to live on thanks to a number cable and satellite providers across the country come January. The same can't be said for the network's website however as top brass have already begun implementing measures to power down certain areas of the site. Beginning Monday, May 23, SOAPnet.com will be officially shutting down their message boards for fans wishing to discuss "General Hospital" and recently canceled sister soaps "All My Children" and "One Life to Live." In a statement on their website, they claim that they still "want you to be able to continue talking" about your favorite ABC soaps, but that "the place to do just that is on the message boards at ABC.com." The move is the latest in a series of efforts to de-emphasize the importance of the former "Network for Soaps," which has...

On Tuesday, May 17, the ABC Television Network presented its 2011-2012 primetime schedule in front of advertisers, affiliates and the press. Two months earlier I received intel on a new series called "Once Upon a Time" that the network had in development where fairy tales and the modern-day collide in the town of Storybooke.
A few weeks back I reported on my personal Twitter page that two actors would be let go by summer's end and it wouldn't be by their own choosing despite how it would be presented by the show. The firing of Ingo Rademacher was not one of those people I alluded to. In an official statement released to ABC Soaps In Depth on their website, the actor said "After 15 years on 'GH' portraying Jax I must say goodbye. I'm fired."
