(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — With only weeks to go until her what supposed to be her final tape date on "One Life to Live" due to supposed back problems, Robin Strasser (Dorian Lord) reveals that her stay in Llanview has been cut short by a week. As we previously reported, Strasser was expected to last tape on Friday, July 1. However, earlier this week the veteran soap actress tweeted that she was "JUST told my LAST tape date 'OLTL' is Friday, June 24th, 1 week earlier than original date chosen. TODAY's script: BEST in years. Ironic!" But that's not all. The outspoken actress, who has played Dorian on "OLTL" off and on for three decades, gives her fans a few insights into her character's exit from the show, only months before it wraps production in November, as well as lamenting about her time on the show. According to TV Guide's Michael Logan, the sanity-challenged Marian, Janet and Annie will help break Dixie (Cady McClain) out of Oak Haven - Pine Valley's long-standing psychiatric facility. Great humor will give way to great warmth when all of the aforementioned escapees are reunited with their loved ones. Bassey played Marian Colby on "All My Children" from 1983 to 1985. In 1995, she returned to the soap for a long-running recurring stint in the role of one of Pine Valley's best troublemakers. She was upped to contract in 1998. After weeks of reported firings, hirings and rumors, NBC's "Days of our Lives" is breaking its silence. In a press release issued to Soap Opera Network, the program has outlined a series of changes that will be reflected on screen beginning in September that includes highlighting romance and the faces of beloved characters once more. Behind the scenes changes include the hiring of "Passions" scribes Marlene McPherson and Darrell Ray Thomas and naming Noel Maxam and Greg Meng as Co-Executive Producers. The duo replace Gary Tomlin, who was fired last week. The behind the scenes changes are effective immediately.

ABC Daytime Sets its ‘Revolution’ in Motion

With only seven months until the long-running ABC serial "One Life to Live" gives way to "The Revolution," a weight-loss show co-hosted by "Project Runway" emcee Tim Gunn, the network launches a series of auditions across the nation in search of women in need of shedding more than a few extra pounds and having their trials and tribulations play out on national television. Producers for the show are "looking for inspirational and relatable women who are ready to lose 50-100 pounds and regain control of their lives." According to an audition flyer released by ABC, the show will provide each woman chosen to appear on the show with a "trainer and nutrition plan to help you lose the weight within your own environment." Auditions will begin this Saturday, June 18 in Troy, Michigan, and will continue on Friday, June 24 in New York City...
