First Look

As previously reported, the men of CBS' "The Young and the Restless" will be appearing on the Wednesday, November 26 edition of syndicated daytime talk show, "The Queen Latifah Show." Look for "Y&R's" Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Justin Hartley (Adam Newman), Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby), Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) and Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman) to have a sit down chat with host Queen Latifah as they talk about their best "Y&R" kisses and their first scenes. Look for Bergman to reminisce on his 25 years at the soap while Hartley shows off his famous dimples! Before the episode airs, Soap Opera Network has your first look with the men on the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, California, where the talk show is filmed.
With the return of Kristen DiMera on NBC's "Days of our Lives" next year, following the return of Eileen Davidson to the set on Friday, November 14, Soap Opera Network has your first look at the actress in scenes set to air in 2015. While details of her return are scarce, we can't help but wonder who Kristen will be interacting with when she opens the DiMera doors.
Thursday, December 4 at 3:00 PM, ET/12:00 PM, PT, marks the beginning of Chapter 13 of "The Bay: The Series," the much beloved web series created by Gregori J. Martin. With episodes set to run 20-22 minutes each all throughout the month of December, fans will be able to follow the drama online and through social media using the hashtags #Bayhem and #DecemberBayhem, in addition to the #TheBay. Following the conclusion of Chapter 13, Chapter 14 will debut in mid December.
Yesterday, we reported that “General Hospital” star Parry Shen (Brad Cooper) will be guest-starring on an upcoming episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” and today, Soap Opera Network is bringing you the first look of the actor in his primetime role!
Roxanna’s steamy “Unforgotten” music video featuring “Days of our Lives’” James Scott (ex-EJ DiMera) set the world on fire, and the flames will continue to roar: The pair has reunited in a second music video for the singer’s next single, “Here With Me,” which serves as a prequel to “Unforgotten.” And guess what? Soap Opera Network sat down with both Scott — who recently departed the daytime world — and Roxanna to get the scoop on what fans can expect from Part Two of their onscreen romance!
Portraying Fenmore Baldwin on CBS' "The Young and the Restless," Max Ehrich has always given off a boy next door type feel, even when his daytime character was reaching dark places. However, on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," Ehrich will be going darker than ever before as a college student accused of sexually assaulting a supposedly innocent coed on the Wednesday, October 22 episode entitled "Pornstar's Requiem."
As Soap Opera Network previously reported, former “Passions” and “Desperate Housewives” star Jesse Metcalfe will be appearing on an upcoming episode of CBS’ “2 Broke Girls,” and a photo from his guest appearance has surfaced!
As previously reported, “General Hospital's" Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) will be featured in the Sunday, October 5 telecast of "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" which tracks past guests from "The Oprah Winfrey Show" to see what they've been up to since last appearing on the talk show. In the case of Benard, it was in 2004 when the soap star and his wife, Paula, opened up to Oprah Winfrey about the private hell they've lived for years with the revelation that the soap star was living with bipolar disorder, which, at its worst, made him violent and suicidal. Nearly 10 years since the episode aired, "Where Are They Now?" followed the actor backstage on the set of "GH," while viewers are introduced to his loving family, which includes daughters Cailey, Heather and Cassidy, and his very own "Mini-Me," son Joshua.
Former soap star Eden Riegel (ex-Heather Stevens, “The Young and the Restless;” ex-Bianca Montgomery, “All My Children”) may have bowed out from the daytime world for the time being, but she’s still hard at work in front of the camera, this time on CBS’ primetime hit, “Criminal Minds.” And Soap Opera Network is bringing you the first sneak peek at the actress’ stint on the show, which also stars “Y&R’s” Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm Winters)!
If you've ever tuned into NBC's "The Biggest Loser" and wondered what life is like for the contestants following their grueling experience, former "As The World Turns" actress Martha Byrne (ex-Lily Snyder) along with writer Daryn Strauss have come together for a new series that hopes to give you the answers you crave. In "Weight: The Series," Byrne portrays the role of Claire Carlson, a mom who loses 100 pounds on a reality show and then has to contend with the absurd and complicated reactions of her friends and family as she attempts to balance the day to day pressures of staying thin and appearing on reality TV. If the description sounds interesting to you, you might be interested in attending a VIP Soap Party and Advanced Screening of the pilot alongside several of daytime's biggest and brightest stars!
As previously reported, "The Young and the Restless'" Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) are heading down the aisle one more time, but before the happy occasion can take place, they along with several of their closest friends and family members are heading to lockup! Set to air on Tuesday, September 30, CBS has released a first look clip of the pre-celebration of the joining of the high school sweethearts, who are determined to put the past behind them and face the future together once more.
As we all know, four weeks ago Brian Frons, President, Daytime, Disney/ABC Television Group, visited the set of ABC's "All My Children" to announce the cancellation of the 41-year-old soap live and in person to cast members while also canceling "AMC's" sister soap "One Life to Live," whose cast members learned via video feed of the 42-year-old daytime dramas fate. According to Frons, with "The Chew" and "The Revolution" the network will be saving between 30-40% a week on programming costs. It's easy to see why as Soap Opera Network has your exclusive first look at the new programming that falls under the networks "It's a Brand New Day" promotional campaign. Materials for the campaign will be sent out to advertisers and press outlets beginning next week as the network presents its 2011-2012 daytime and primetime schedule to Madison Avenue's elite buyers at the Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center in New York City on Tuesday, May 17. Soap fans are scheduled to protest outside the event from 2:00 - 6:00 PM.
