Warner Bros. Pictures and Dark Castle Entertainment has released the first teaser trailer for “Getaway,” starring Ethan Hawke (“Training Day“) and Selena Gomez (“Wizards of Waverly Place“), which finds former race car driver Brent Magna (Hawke) pitted against the clock to save his recently kidnapped wife Leanne (Rebecca Budig, ex-Greenlee Smythe, “All My Children“). Brent commandeers a custom Shelby Cobra Mustang, taking it and its unwitting owner (Selena Gomez) on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage.

Though we’ve tried hard to see Josh Duhamel as any other character besides “All My Children’s” Leo du Pres, it’s been impossible. The unique and loveable charm of David Hayward’s endearing brother always seems to sneak out. That is, until now.
In “Scenic Route,” which is one of Duhamel’s darkest projects yet, the North Dakota native tackles the role of Mitchell, a man who has it all — until an unsuccessful road trip leaves him stranded in the desert with a friend. Emotions run high while Mitchell and Carter (Dan Fogler) try to survive the elements, and then…

Blake Berris may be best known for his role as Nick Fallon on “Days of our Lives,” but the young actor has been busy trying to make a name for himself via other avenues, as well. He’s recently made headway in the indie film circuit, and his latest project is Jane Clark’s “Meth Head,” a story about a man named Kyle, played by Lukas Haas (“Lincoln,” “Inception,” and “Brick”), who loses control of his life after becoming addicted to methamphetamines.

“General Hospital’s” Jon Lindstrom (Dr. Kevin Collins) directed and co-produced “How We Got Away With It,” a gripping, taut and explosive tale of a young man and his friend’s violent reaction to an unexpected tragedy during their annual all-weekend summer reunion. “Got Away With It” is a troubling and sometimes difficult piece about abuse, secrets, denial and revenge.
Screenings of the film will take place during the Macon Film Festival in Macon, GA beginning today, February 15, starting at 4:15 PM at the 567 Center for Renewal, which is located at 533 Cherry St. Macon, GA 31201. A Q&A will follow the screening. Another screening will take place on Saturday, February 16 at 6:00 PM at the Douglass Theater located at 355 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Macon, GA 31201.

“I wish she’d tell me what she was thinking” are the first spoken words in the teaser trailer for the upcoming film “On Air” by Paos Revolution, a new production company formed by Jordi Vilasuso (“All My Children,” “Guidiing Light”) and acting coaches from “AMC” and “General Hospital.” The film will tell the fictionalized story of life after a popular soap opera gets canceled and how the stars of the program are forced to move on.
In the teaser, Vilasuso is joined by former “AMC” co-star Alicia Minshew, whose character says that she “gave ten years of [her] life to that show. I still can’t believe we got canceled.” While the line provides an unintentional punch to soap fans still reeling from the loss of the ABC drama series as Minshew portrayed Kendall Hart on the program for nearly ten years, it does show that life does go on. While we will no longer be seeing some of our favorite stars portraying some of our all-time favorite characters, the business of soaps will continue in one form or another.

Based on the Vertigo comic book series “Y: The Last Man,” which produced only 60 issues in the span of nearly five years (September 2002 to March 2008), “Y: The Last Man Rising” is a fan film that tells the story of Yorick (Travis Quentin Young), an artist who must be protected at all costs in order to ensure the continued survival of the human race. Special Agent 355 is the one tasked in protecting him by any means necessary. In July, IGN Entertainment debuted the film online that stars former ”General Hospital” and “General Hospital: Night Shift” actress Kent King (ex-Dr. Lainey Winters) in the role of Agent 355. King co-produced the film alongside her husband Christian Cardona, who also served as writer, producer and director of the 21 minute long film.
In addition to King, the film features “an ensemble cast, including my good friend and fellow ‘GH’r' Bergen Williams,” said the actress to Soap Opera Network. ”A few of the other cast members have soap history as well. And if you look/listen really really closely, you can spot my bestie Minae Noji [ex-Dr. Kelly Lee, "GH" and "GH: NS"]. It also stars Travis Quentin Young, Rebecca Marshall, Vida Guerra, and Traci Dinwiddie.”

Based on one of the most critically acclaimed comics of all time. A mysterious plague has wiped out all men on the planet, and women are left to pick up the pieces of society. The only surviving man is Yorick, an amateur escape artist who is the key to the continual survival of the human race. Special Agent 355 is tasked to protect his life at all costs. Luckily, she’s really good at her job…
IGN and Drake 1129 Productions are proud to present this new short film, made by super fans of the comic. It covers the initial plague that kills any mammal with a Y chromosome (except Yorick and his trusty monkey companion, Ampersand) and an awesome fight between Agent 355 and a fanatical group of Amazons.

Movie Description:
In the year 1752, Joshua and Naomi Collins, with young son Barnabas, set sail from Liverpool, England to start a new life in America. But even an ocean was not enough to escape the mysterious curse that has plagued their family. Two decades pass and Barnabas (Johnny Depp) has the world at his feet—or at least the town of Collinsport, Maine. The master of Collinwood Manor, Barnabas is rich, powerful and an inveterate playboy…until he makes the grave mistake of breaking the heart of Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green). A witch, in every sense of the word, Angelique dooms him to a fate worse than death: turning him into a vampire, and then burying him alive. Two centuries later, Barnabas is inadvertently freed from his tomb and emerges into the very changed world of 1972. He returns to Collinwood Manor to find that his once-grand estate has fallen into ruin. The dysfunctional remnants of the Collins family have fared little better, each harboring their own dark secrets. Matriarch Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (Michelle Pfeiffer) has called upon live-in psychiatrist, Dr. Julia Hoffman (Helena Bonham Carter), to help with her family troubles. Also residing in the manor is Elizabeth’s ne’er-do-well brother, Roger Collins, (Jonny Lee Miller); her rebellious teenage daughter Carolyn Stoddard (Chloe Moretz); and Roger’s precocious 10-year-old son, David Collins (Gulliver McGrath). The mystery extends beyond the family, to caretaker Willie Loomis, played by Jackie Earle Haley, and David’s new nanny, Victoria Winters, played by Bella Heathcote.
