It may have been released quite some time ago, but fan reaction to Roxanna’s “Unforgotten” music video starring “Days of our Lives” James Scott (EJ DiMera) is still going strong. Soap Opera Network recently re-posted the steamy music video, but if that wasn’t enough for you (and we imagine it wasn’t), then you’ll be happy to hear that Roxanna shared what it was like getting so up close and personal with Scott during the making of the sexy video! Check out her memories below, as told to her close friend and writer, Roxanne Smith, exclusively for SON.
It wasn’t that long ago that Minae Noji was starring as “General Hospital’s” Dr. Kelly Lee, and now — BAM! — she’s portraying the fierce ninja warrior Karai in the newest installment of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film franchise. Soap Opera Network caught up with the busy actress, who spilled details regarding the film, what Megan Fox is really like in the role of April O’Neil, and how her “GH” experience ultimately led her to sharing the screen and red carpet with the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, William Fichtner and Will Arnett.
From his early days as a male model to his time as “One Life to Live’s” Christian Vega, David Fumero has always had a smile to die for and heart to kill for. His wife, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star Melissa Fumero, fell under his spell while the two were working together on “OLTL” (she as Adriana Cramer), and if you haven’t already fallen for the star as well, you’re about to! Soap Opera Network recently caught up with the actor during a House of Kooser/Ronald McDonald House charity event, where he dished on the importance of giving back, what he’s been up to since leaving the daytime world and what it’s been like to ride along with Melissa’s primetime success. Brace yourself: What he had to say could make the hardest of hearts start swooning!
A lot of actors may gush about how finding success in the crazy world of entertainment is a blessing, but when “The Young and the Restless’” Mishael Morgan (Hilary Curtis) says it, she means it — literally! And that’s because a horrific accident nearly ruined her chances at becoming a daytime star, or anything else for that matter. Soap Opera Network caught up with the actress to get the scoop on her near-death experience as well as how a lucky streak has landed her smack dab in the middle of the popular Genoa City father/son duo of Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Devon (Bryton James)!
“The Young and the Restless’” Christine (Lauralee Bell) boldly declared that Austin (Matthew Atkinson) will pay for the atrocities he’s committed as of late, but is that truly the case? Soap Opera Network caught up with the character’s portrayer to find out!
“The Young and the Restless’” Hunter King (Summer Newman) didn’t win this year’s Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress for nothing: Her storyline has been chock full of exciting ups and downs — and according to the actress, it’s only going to get crazier as the summer continues!
It’s been over a month since “The Young and the Restless’” Elizabeth Hendrickson last aired as Chloe Mitchell, and many fans are still getting used to her onscreen absence. But if all goes well, viewers will have the opportunity of seeing the actress on the small screen once more: In a comedy setting! Soap Opera Network caught up with Hendrickson to get the scoop on how life has been since departing the daytime world, and it sounds like the actress is doing everything she can to shed the tears of her acting past and welcome new smiles.

Ever heard the rumor that working on a soap opera is one of the toughest acting jobs out there? Well, according to some industry insiders like “Days of our Lives'” casting director Marnie Saitta, “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” John McCook (Eric Forrester), “General Hospital’s” Anthony Geary, and “The Young and the Restless’” Max Ehrich (Fenmore Baldwin), daytime gigs are some of the toughest jobs to land — and keep, as well!
“The Young and the Restless’” Billy Abbot has seen quite a transformation in recent months. After portrayer Billy Miller decided to walk away from the show in January of this year, former portrayer David Tom was cast in the role. But just a few short months later, it was announced that Tom — who previously played the character from 1999 to 2002 — had been ordered to pack his bags so that daytime newcomer Burgess Jenkins could step into the role. And while it was Miller’s decision to leave the character he’d played since 2008, the same cannot be said for Tom, who was reportedly very surprised to learn he’d been replaced with Jenkins after just four months of being back in the role! So what happened to lead to such a quick casting turnaround? We asked CBS Vice President of Daytime, Angelica McDaniel, who told Soap Opera Network that the recast was not an easy turn of events for anyone involved.
On Tuesday, June 24, Genoa City said hello again to a familiar name with a new face. On that day, daytime newcomer Burgess Jenkins took over the role of Billy Abbott on CBS' "The Young and the Restless" from David Tom, who himself succeeded three-time Daytime Emmy Award winning actor Billy Miller in the popular role, but how did Jenkins land himself on daytime's most watched drama series? "My management called me and they were talking to me about this role, and when they sent me the breakdown on the character, I just fell in love. I absolutely fell in love with Billy," said Jenkins when Soap Opera Network spoke with the actor in the gifting suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA as part of Daytime Emmy weekend. "There's not a whole lot of characters you see that are so multi-layered and interesting that way. I had a chance to meet with the producers to discuss the character and the show, and it just seemed like a good fit," added Jenkins, who noted that the conversation he had with producers on the character helped give him something to dig into before the cameras began to roll.
